Rutgers fan here, Kansas City got a potential starter in the 7th round. Pacheco ran behind one of the worst offensive lines in the power 5 last year and still killed it. He's a 220lb back who ran a 4.37 40 at the combine.
If I were the Chiefs RB coach I would say that his internal clock needs to be toned down a bit. He doesn't really wait for holes to develop, just kinda hits it not looking for those cutback lanes to appear. With that said I don't know how much of that I can put on him vs the oline. They looked awful all around.
Yep. He makes the most out of every play while getting nearly zero help. Great spotting by Veach and company. With good coaching and a solid O-line this kid could really make it big.
Ooops - October 11. Well so far as I suspected. A bunch of hype and not much band for the buck. He is no starter. And as I suspected. The reason they re-signed Jerrick McKinnon is because during training camp they realized that Pacheco is not what all the hype said he'd be. McKinnon is better than him and so is Clyde Helaire
Chiefs have a great O-line when it comes to run blocking. If Pacheco can learn a little patience at the pro level to let his blocks develop he could have some monster numbers. the talent and athletics are there. If the Chiefs can coach him up they got yet another steal in the draft.
Pacheco gunna b 1 of the TRUE GREATEST TO RUN THE BALL PLUS HE CAN THROW CHECK HIS HIGH SCHOOL TRACK RECORD HE WAS THE QB + HE CAN CATCH TRIPLE THREAT AND ON TOP OF ALL THAT HE JODY BABY 💯
Pacheco runs 5 yards AFTER he's been tackled. After every play has totally ended and the whistle blown he gets up and runs another 5 yards as if he thinks he is going to get more yards out of it or he is going to impress someone with how mad he is .......... He's a weirdo.... Like the cartoon tasmanian devil all mad and spinning around......
@@MrCwhitt75 Yeah, I'm really not sure why we haven't played his as much. I know we spent a first on CEH but that's no reason to short ourselves, we need to cut our losses or at least give him less reps
As a Cumberland county native and KC fan I was so excited to see this kid get drafted by my team. Can’t wait to see him behind a good o line. Because after watching these highlights he was behind a garbage one.
He mentioned that the O line he ran behind wasn’t very good in his phone call with KC sports media. He’ll have a much better O line to run behind in KC, I hope we run the ball 🏈 more in 2022. I think this kid will make the 53 man roster this year, much faster than Darwin Williams.
iCheck... humble... it's a competition to make the team... but ask and people will help... do some 5 and 10 yrd ins straight down the line and coming towards and going away... in traffic with a pop...
@@wdubduece8913 bro you trippen you failed comparing LSU to Rutgers... Dude played with one of the worst Oline in NCAA.. PACHECO is better then Clyde plain and simple plus dude has break away speed 4.37 a tad slower then Jamaal Charles witch ran a 4.36..dude gets in space he is Gone!
He’s so stiff for a running back. He’s a hard runner but he’s such a one cut guy. If the hole isn’t there for him to run through he doesn’t have the vision to find a better lane. He definitely gets really choppy with his feet to which makes it harder for him to cut back against defenders that take bad angles on him.
I’d say the same thing but once he put on that #1 jersey he just looked like a completely different running back idk what happened between the number change but he seen massive improvement and that’s what I like to see
I see nothing very impressive here. Donno what the Chiefs saw..... I guess they need someone for special teams. Another slow mini scat back. Chiefs need a Roger Craig or Priest Holmes
Lol you people are complete idiots. First off you clowns apparently don’t know what elite speed looks like . He’s explosive and dangerous. Secondly the 40 times you clowns are talking about was unofficial. The only 40 time that actually counts is his official time and that’s a 4.37 . As a runner this kid has it all . But you fools are apparently blind lol 😂
I see a lot of wasted movement on almost every carry. The stop and start juke every time he gets to the hole seems unnecessary on the majority of his runs.

Bro shut up, you have countless comments on here hating on pacheco and calling him a wasted pick, hes now their starter. Eat your own gah damn words ya bozo
@@trentlee6823 November 26. I was correct. When I made the comment back in September Pacheco was not starter. He is only #1 on the DC because Helaire is on IR. Helaire is injured ya dipschitt. If Pacheco gets #1 on D-Chart because CEH is injured that means nothing..... Use your brain if you have one at all. I personally think McKinnon should be #1 in absence of CEH as McKinnon has earned it.
@@artkyger3425 bro are u dumb or dumb? Pacheco has been out performing ceh for the past 3 weeks AND pacheco has gotten a lot more snaps, pacheco>ceh stop hating
If Pacheco can get better catching the ball out of the backfield.....we've got ourself a stud! He's only dropped about 30 passes during practice this year! Get them hands sticky kid, and you will be fine!
