I may not be a fan of Rugby but whenever I watch Springboks I get goosebumps, this is where you get to see the beauty of unite of South Africans, different races, tribes, backgrounds sharing love and giving us something to smile about
@@floydkingi4364true but that doesn't mean there is no room for improvement for us at all. No team goes on the field with a plan of losing right? Leap of faith will do for our Boks.... I'm just giving them their flowers on their game against Wales.
As a Welshman and a welsh supporter through and through, what. The. Fuck wales. How do we go from having one of the strongest teams in the world after winning the slam to flailing around the pitch looking like the fucking corn circle society. Well done to South Africa, very well deserved. I just hope we’ll get our act together before the World Cup 🤞🤞
Wales changed a whole team for this game, changed a lot! As a boks supporter I was pretty disappointed too for wales. Loved watching these games cause wales play so similar to the boks. Next time bud! Head up and let’s see what the World Cup brings!!
Springboks looking very strong, Wales looking like....a team who sacked their coach months out from a world cup and are scrambling. all by the numbers stuff. nice to see the wales fans still cheering at the end though, thats good support.
@@ManaBrown-vw4spwe can loose to the all blacks and still win the world cup nothing new here, the point made is they are looking strong deal with it 😅
@@ManaBrown-vw4spgo and watch all of the lineouts in the last SA vs NZ March. Watch the disallowed try of Kolbe and the allowed try between Scotland vs France - Game 1, then you can see the difference refs make.
Man! That was a tough watch! S. Africa are such a tough team, they didn't even get out of third gear to give us a good beating! It's really hard at the moment to back my home nation the way we've been playing, but, be it as it is, I'll support Wales with my dying breath. C'mon the Dragons! Cymru am Byth
Jesse Kriel is a machine💪🏻💪🏻 Loved the performance of our forward pack as well. The Boks pummeled Wales. It should've been more. Siya's offload for the initial try was good too. They put on a performance worthy of world champions🇿🇦
I wish, SA have a tough way to the final. England draw the easy group. All groups have at least two strong teams, SA group have 3 and England's group only 1. @@gregbradley7482
Nooo nooo noo nooo nooo. You don't get to use "green and gold" That's Australia, Always has been. Always will be. You can have "emerald and daffodil" or "forest and lemon". That's your two choices.
@@Trajan2401 No Eben No lood No Am No de klerk No Pollard No mapimpi No Arendse No Estherhezein Not the Boks A team either Just show you the boks depth is very good
@@superbok4517 no you can't count injured players every country have them even your own SA analysts said this was the best possible side with maybe 1 0r 2 others.Youre counting injured players and players that didn't get selected because they aren't considered the best in your coaches eyes
🇿🇦 please don't get carried away with this win Getting to the world cup will be a different story Stay focused and don't get ahead of yourself Best of luck 🎉
NZ still look favourites, but SA have to be second. I really hope France and Ireland are as competitive as their world rankings. Having those 4 teams close would be awesome
As a South African, I feel sorry for the Welsh, there was no way Canan Moodie was going to catch that ball that got Dyer a yellow card. Luckily with the score line ending up where it did it wasn't a match winning / losing decision :)
Ahh the depth in the SA Squad is unbelievable. Completely outplayed us in every area ! It was a experimental team out today and it’s all about getting the combinations right. It gives gats a good look at who’s at international level! We’ll be ready for the WC. It’ll be a big learning curve for some but a lesson on what it’s like at the top level
Love watching Wales vs SA, both countries that love rugby and appreciate rugby. One of the best nights in my lift going out in Wales after a game.@@lloydc1092
The all blacks Springboks you cannot underestimate them bevan they are born winners what a perfomance by Springboks it shows you the power of this boks team if they put their mind to it
It should've been much closer. Wales gifted them 4 tries but it wouldn't have changed the outcome. SA were far superior even though they were way off their best
It actually was humiliating. Clear we have a feudal Lords like systems where daddy's son or so and so who knows so and so gets on the team despite being talentless trash. Well wait! I take that back. That's a global issue. Maybe because there's a smaller selection pool to work with? Lol
This side of the RWC draw is a complete embarrassment. Would love to see tier two nations filling quarter final play offs spots. But even then they will get hammered in semis. This might be a World Cup where the quarterfinals will be more exciting to watch compared to the semis.
SA fan here. This Pollard Libbok debate is so tough. Libbok contributes to a more exiting attacking game but Pollard more solid off the T. It feels boring to say we need a solid kicker because fostering a talent for a more dynamic attacking team could be what gets us to NZ levels of running rugby. That Libbok-Willemse chemistry for me is magic. If it shoots us in the foot not having a solid kicker in the World Cup it might pay dividends to our game in the long run to change our brand of play to something more rounded instead of hoofing box kicks all the time which has become quite predictable and has been well read by opponents lately. I back Libbok and hope he conquers the T with patience and determination. You make us more of a fun team to watch 👊. No discredit to Pollard who is a giant in his own right
L👀k I know we lost Handrè Pollard but Manie Libbok's distribution is amazing! It makes me excited to know we will be playing more running rugby 🏉 which I have always felt we great at ßut tend to play other styles 😵
@@matchewwills Yeah but he's the number one choice unfortunately. Making Kolbe or Faf kick isn't a viable solution, since their accuracy isn't much better than Libbok's
@@leemeyer7629 okay I agree. I think the coaches have failed in this department. We have better kicking flyhalves at provincial level but I don’t see them offering close to what Libbok offers in attacking play. I think Manie’s Stormers kicking coach needs to fly over because he’s worse now than earlier in the year 🫠
@muntymunt I remember when the All Blacks were ranked #1 going into the WC and the Boks lost to Japan in the opening round. We all know how that tournament ended up. I'm a bigger supporter of NZ than SA but the later just seems to rise up during the WC. I'd prefer Ireland win it but they always seem to fall short no matter their ranking.
@@tmdillon1969 you mean Ireland were rank 1? and south africa lost to the all blacks in the opening round haha. not saying south Africa arnt good because they are, but the all blacks are the in form team at the moment. also im pretty sure the allblacks do rise up at world cups considering the last 3 have been 1st, 1st, 3rd?
As an Englishman I would say that the only team from the northern hemisphere that could pose a threat to the springboks would be Ireland - both Wales and England are nowhere near this standard.
My worry is that these big wina somehow make our boys loose focus and feel they have already won the world cup but i hope they stay focus and take each win as one giant step.. to lifting that cup again... go boys!!
Bearing in mind that Wales aren’t the hottest side around currently, but the Boks look frightening, especially as this wasn’t their A team, they have to be very strong favourites to retain their title. However I’m looking forward their opening match against Scotland, I’m sure that’s going to be a lot closer encounter.
Watching this and i still can't believe how shambolic that world cup draw is. Top 5 in the world all on the same side of the draw. On the other side of the draw it really only looks like Argentina would have half a chance once they reach the semis.
Yes it’s a farce that a team like Wales or England could realistically make the semis when one of Ireland, SA and Scotland won’t even make it out of the group.
@Demondoink1 then also, france, irland, nz and SA or even Scoryland will be knocking each other out of in the Quarters making easy for the weak teams in the other pools to reach the finals. Aus, Wales, England can easily make it to the final of Arg drop the ball. Its rigged.
Hahaha it's obvious you don't know much about rugby the Boks have been poor for a while and this was a Welsh C side that gifted them 4 tries 😂 fake kiwi
The next warm-up match for SA before the 2023 RWC, to be hosted by France, will be an entirely different prospect. Next stop for the Springboks : Twickenham. To play against New Zealand.
Tbf to wales, today was a trial for all our new players to let them have some game time, I reckon about 5 of the people who played today will actually be played in the WC
For all his flair, you cannot afford to go into a RWC with a kicker operating at around 60%. I’d rather have an unfit Pollard over Libbok. Our 3 wins in the competition were built around Stransky, Montgomery and Pollard. Statistics are undeniable
@@reeld99 agree. Am’s injury is an opportunity for Handre to play centre. Libbok is fantastic but in tight games the pressure becomes even bigger and the margins smaller. His strikes are good so it’s really just the direction. He’s also missed a few penalty kicks to touch which kills momentum. Faf can kick but I’m not sure he’s first choice at the moment. I’m going to the game at Twickenham on Friday… interesting to see the line up.
Great to see some new players getting a chance for Wales but even a 4 minute highlights video was a tough watch. As gats said after the England loss, he found out about a few players and their capability to play international rugby. SA were quality as everyone knew they would be, but some of those tries were put on a plate for the SA boys!
Don't worry, Wales - we know you're much better than this! Never seen a Wales team play with so may names I'd never heard of. Boks: take the pressure off Manie, let Cheslin or Damian W take the place kicks. Manie is an exciting flyhalf and needs to focus on running the backline with full confidence
Finally someone that understands, as a welsh fan it’s really frustrating to see people say, aww wales got shit on, when we played a side that I couldn’t name 5 players from
Well done bokke. Much respect for the Welsh supporters. Have to disagree with that penalty try though. Just continue with the original penalty and that's coming from a SA supporter....still luckily that try didn't affect a final result. Keep your heads up high Wales❤
I don't believe in the concept of a 1st team vs B team when it comes to the Boks because some of the best players we have are the fringe players who never get picked.. There's no real 1st choice between Faf, Williams and Hdrikse for example. But Wales have a massive gap between their 1st team vs everyone else. NZ don't have a 2nd /B team either. We ax Bok fans need to focus and build towards beating Scotland. Libbok is not a great kicker but he usually kicks much better than today. VS the All Blacks next week our focus should still be beating Scotland in the first game at WC. Jesse Kriel had a great game and if he performs like that at the world cup I'll apologize to him for calling him a mampara at 13 for years. I just wanna see us play with our best form players, on current form Jesse Kriel is better than Am, on current form Estherhuizen is better than De Allende, on current form Jean Luc Du Preez is better than Mostert and PSdT
I think we've known for months it's likely to be one of the teams from the other half. There 4 with a real chance... SA, NZ, Ireland and France... they are a class apart ATM.
@@eccehomer8182only 2 of the 4 goes to the semis tho and might make it 2 of the 4 top teams into the finals. My money is on SA v NZ final. Or if the Quarters is brutal we might see SA v Eng again lol but it can Easily be NZ ve IRL in finals or FR v Irl. The draw is brutal.
Can’t remember the last time wales had 1 B&I lion in the starting XV but it showed today. Nothing gained in this game for SA than maybe Kolisi coming back and staying fit. Wales just now know the 10 fringe players they gave run outs today will stay fringe players. Still not sure what the best team is and still not sure how good that team is
