I heard Paul Mullen get that backwards kick off for the first goal when I was listening to the broadcast. Seeing it now in real life is just amazing! What skill that it took. Go Wrexham!
Maybe it's me but I hope some of the loyal 4000 odd fans that followed wrexham through tough times week in week out before the take over don't struggle to get tickets nowadays. So important to upgrade the stadium. Gone are the times you could just turn up. So great to see the racecourse a fortress again
Yes it’s a nightmare for some who could just turn up and sit altogether where we wanted but if you asked anyone would you swap back the answer would be no. The ride the club is on at the moment is beyond our wildest dreams
I've looked high and low for a way to watch from Michigan in the US and found nothing. I even checked to see if anyone was sneakily streaming on Twitch or Facebook from their phone just randomly somewhere in the crowd. Hopefully soon they'll realize it's a smart idea to stream live from the Racecourse.
@@jaexyn i'm from Wrexham, I've had have a season ticket for some years now. The reason games are not broadcast on a Saturday at 3pm is cos that would stop people from going to the stadium and therefore costs the club gate receipts and money. That said I don't see why we can't stream to America
@@fathertedcrilley3988 Oh I understand how that would be an issue over there, but I was mainly commenting as a foreigner. Not sure how they'd work that magic to get it to us over here and not keep you all from still going to the game, but I have a feeling most locals would rather be there in person than watch it. I know I would! Cheers :)
Although Mullin and Palmer scored.... I seriously think another candidate for Man of the Match was Callum McFadzean. His eye for the right opportunity and his skill at breaking up plays (and stealing the ball) really made the difference.
Have lived in Durban Sth Africa for last 5o years and so happy to see my team playing so well. Left Mold in 1971 and remember side so well Eddie May Alan Bermingham Steve Ingle Ray Smith Albert Kinsey etc.. Alan Steve I recollect playing in SA In the seventies. Hope we make promotion this season
As a chesterfield supporter I just can't bear to watch this.... these guys just score oodles of goals and win for fun.... Champions in waiting.... Unfortunately CFC have a flaky rearguard if we had anything like a solid defence we would give these guys a run for their money with the quality we have in midfield and up top... So Paul Cook get that rearguard adressed before the playoffs then Spireites can join Red Dragons back in the football league where 2 of the oldest clubs in the pyramid belong..... Well done WRFC
It's WAFC...I was at the Technique in August,Spireites looked very good,it's not over yet 30 games to go.Don't forget Notts and the Moors both v.good sides.
HOW IS THE LAST GOAL THE BEST ONE?! These guys should be wrecked and playing a safe game and instead they push out a bloody scoring master class sequence to score #4! GO WREXHAM!!!!
I know Ryan gets a lot of the attention because he's a movie star but Rob is such a great guy. Not only is he the reason I became a Wrexham fan, but I'm currently rooting for the Phillies purely because of him. Hoping for a promotion this year, team looks great so far.
The 4th goal was one of the best team goals I've seen for a while, after a horrendous passage of play by Altrincham. 4th tier football in a nutshell, some good, some bad, some ugly! Well done, Wrexham 👍🏼
The FA, Vanarama, and the RA really need to bring their heads together and come up with a solution to the officiating issues. There's an obvious need for more funding for recruitment, training, and pay for refs at this level, or this worse-than-poor and and at times honestly unacceptable officiating is only going to continue otherwise. To quote uncle Ben; 'with great power comes great responsibility', and these officials should really be feeling the responsibility to deliver amazing quality refereeing for the boys on the pitch and the fans in the stands; which they either clearly don't, or clearly are not armed with the necessary tools to do so.
Im losing sleep listening to Wrexham it would be really nice for ESPN+ or FX to allow us to watch all the games live, that would be totally worth it. Hey, guy from Just Friends with Amy Smart, make it happen.
You can't, Ryan& Rob from what I hear are currently having an issues with the league allowing them to stream the games on there own site. I'm sure the league is looking to try to fleece them for money.
When see the ground full like that and see the quality of football you have to pinch yourself to remember this is being played in the Fifth tier of English ( I know Wrexham are Welsh) football. Some people watching this may not know the game is organised as a pyramid so it is possible to go from top to bottom. US owners who want an elite, franchised league to guarantee profits, note that relegation can happen to the biggest clubs. And British fans will never accept it any other way.
I'm pretty sure, every US viewer, watching a video on YT of lil ol Wrexham, will be doing so because of the Welcome to Wrexham docu-series on Hulu etc - in which it's all explained at how it works 👍
That’s the… admit horrible beauty of the football league system! Us Wrexhams fans have been though the mill.. seen teams like Fleetwood, Salford & Forrest Green all benefited from a financial supportive board…it’s our day in the sun. COYR… 🏴
@@gordonmullock3924 Wrong, he's clearly English. As his ridiculously thick scouse accent, past as a youth academy player for both Everton and Liverpool, and the fact he was born and raised in Merseyside (Litherland to be exact) clearly attest to. Mulls is a dyed in the wool goal poacher for sure but he's not getting in the WC squad. Though if he keeps scoring for fun and Wrexham make it back to the league maybe he will get a few caps for EURO 2024 qualifiers and get a foot in the door that way. His story kind of reminds me of Vardy, would be cool to see him make it to the top leagues in the English game and get capped and have some success on the bigger stages as well.👍
@@paulevans251 Yeah, but he's not been capped by either country (at any level actually) and since he's eligible to play for either he could be called up to play for England still theoretically. Far more likely he gets a go with the Wales set up though! Edit: For clarification, I'm not trying to thumb my nose at the Welsh or their National team at all. Being a fully capped international period is an accomplishment IMO, so whether it be England or Wales either one good on Mulls if he makes it! My main point was it would be cool to see him work his way into the highest levels of club and international competition if he's presented the opportunities to do so and makes good on them.
How do I play in Glorious Wrexham? Lol 😀 I'm 18 years old I'm Brazilian, I know how to play football, is there room for me there? 🤔 Forward Wrexham 😁🏴🇧🇷
Wrexham is really just another team, the locals love em as they should but all us little Johnny come lately bandwagon celeb lovers are hilarious, c'mon now, love your local team like the wrexham folks and all will be well
It was played by the Altrincham player in blue at 1m36 - not offside. Mullin's also level, not that this matters as it was an Alt player who passed it.
if we do it's karma given the previous criminal owners that came so close to destroying our club for their own self-interests, it's the reason we are down here, saved by the fans from extinction and now Ryan and Rob swoop in and right the wrong
