I'll be honest I knew nothing about Wrexham AFC before Ryan and Rob bought the club but I have to be honest it's great seeing the team develop and even gives me Ted Lasso vibes. It's nice to just enjoy it.
@@haalandsonlangstaff7070 Believe it or not, a lot of people watch the Premier League, and if your local team is non-league, it's basically like a YMCA team. Stop trying to gatekeep the beautiful game. Just let people experience its beauty
45 years ago I was a little nipper in North Wales. First team I ever supported was Wrexham. The last thing I ever expected to happen was a couple of high profile guys go and buy the team but what a result for the club. The whole world knows Wrexham AFC now thanks to them. Here I am in Aus watching this chapter in the clubs history unfold with a big smile 👍
Here in Sweden I had no idea of Wrexham, but the series is really good and it shows how unfair life has been to the Club. So I root for them now. I am used to desperate causes, I'm a Spurs supporter... But the wins are sweeter when they are earned!
i'm 4 episodes into the show and fully invested in the real life outcome of the team and the city - can't help but root for them - all the way over here in Hawaii!
Brilliant isn't it! I do find the subtitles amusing (I'm from the UK so totally understand what they are saying without them). We went past the turnoff for Wrexham last year and I begged my husband for us to go,he said no 😭. Love a lifelong Norwich City fan! Good luck Wrexham for this season!
i knew nothing about Wrexham AFC before..Ryan and Rob got me here. after watching the docu series i just like this club i hope they move up from this league and back atleast at the championship
As a palace fan I have been following Wrexham's progress since Ryan and Rob bought the club, have seen them on American talk shows which I watch regularly, and other interviews, it's just great to see fire brreathed back into a club and see tha fans get so excited, you would think Iv'e seen Ted Lasso, but I havn't, I never heard of John Mullin but have now, here's hoping to see you back in the league sooner than later
The best thing about Rob and Ryan pushing Wrexham to glory, is there are bitter rivals of Wrexham that have a cauldron of hatred for them that has be exemplified! That the Beauty of English football!
@@kdavis002 figured they would. Hopefully the league figures something out. I think it would help grow the league and bring in a new stream of revenues
So cool to see Futbol growing in popularity in the United States. Practically replacing the attention of the MLB. I love to see soccer/Futbol grow so greatly!
I am a new supporter from California…Rob and Ryan, are truly ALL IN as you can see…this is gonna be fun to watch, for me, and a Thousand times more for the Wrexam Community…Roll Tide…
I’ve been a fan of English football for a very long time.. all divisions, all comps, all leagues… National League and League 1 games are usually exciting, with plenty of scoring. Can’t ask for anything more.. you see the passion in the players and fans more than the top flight teams… once R & R took over the team, I was hooked and found a team to truly root for.. Go get your promotion to the next league boys.. Everyone in that town deserves it, not just the players, coaching staff and ownership… Proud to see the progress that’s been made so far. My team scarf and jersey arrived last month…
Great game. Really love watching football in lower leagues so wrexham just might be my next travel destination even though its pretty far from austria. Hope the tickets wont be sold out 🔥
Just watched a show on cable last night. Pretty cool story about the take over. God luck to Wrexham, excellent story. Great looking stadium, looks better with fans in it.
To say I'm a sheffield united fan I've been following you're since the take over and this game could have been more goals I wish you all the best this season
Watching from Philadelphia. You're away jerseys are modeled after our Philadelphia Eagles green because of your new owner. Fly Eagles Fly and go Wrexham (and Chelsea... COYB!)
Wrexham AFC is not just a football club, I realized it after watching welcome to Wrexham. Wrexham AFC, Ryan, Rob and the Wrexham community than you so much for helping me to find back myself just wish I could connect with you guys
I first became aware of Wrexham AFC via EA's FIFA games (tho I never played as them), but I'm here to check in, thanks to "Welcome to Wrexham". Looks like Wrexham AFC is on the rise! MUFC is my #1 team, but Wrexham AFC have slid comfortably into #2 position. Now I suppose I'll have to choose Wrexham in Manager Mode, when FIFA23 drops! 🤔😏
Liverpool fan and started watching the show to be honest had no fucking clue they existed but excited to see what the takeover can do for the club and am supporting the lads from afar ❤️
We want to know everything we can about Wrexham starting with how to support the club (like buying official merch). Rob is so wonderful. Mac finds his Pride sutured him to our hearts. Roy Reynolds seems like a sweet young man and we wish him well but we are here for the Rob show. Love, love, love the docu series.
It's great to see some video. I've been listening live the last few weeks. Can't wait to see some live video all the way out in Los Angeles on Tuesday midday, and Saturday mornings.
I wonder what longtime Wrexham fans think about people like me, an American who has never followed football but fell in love with this team because of the show Welcome To Wrexham? As I am starting to learn the sport, the more I am enjoying it. I LOVE the atmosphere...the fans are electric. I wish I could attend a game there .
Nice to see Wrexham do well from a jack my self congratulations to you Wrexham hope you get promoted this season and get back to football league we're you belong up here with us from Swansea fan to you lot I really hope you get back to league 2 then progress even more
I haven’t watched football since the 90’s. I’m not a big Ryan Reynolds fan and have never seen Rob in anything. I did see all the press though so decided to watch the series and now I’m a fan. It’s not because it’s Hollywood or they’d the best. I just genuinely want the best for the players, the town and the fans. I’m sure many other teams are similar to Wrexham, it just happens that Wrexham are the ones I’ve seen first. I used to work in a gym years ago and the Hull city players used to be members, every single one of them was a good guy, this was 02-08.
Fantastic match and highlights!! Thanks for sharing this @Wrexham AFC. However, if you want to take this to the next level... all you need is a simple compressor on the commentary. Set the cutoff to whatever you like, and then your awesome commentator can scream all he wants during the goals and he won't need to move away to compensate for the volume. Cheers lads!
I also came here because of the actors, I am from Argentina and in this area it is very difficult for us to pronounce the name of the club haha. good luck.
I know nothing about football that's not American, and yet here I am. Ryan has proven to be a class act and has repeatedly impressed me with his humor, personality and integrity. If Wrexham is where his attention is, you know it's good and you know it's worth it. Go Wrexham!
From Pittsburgh, PA, you’ve gained a new supporter. I just need your team shop to get more kits! Not buying from anywhere other than the official website!
I used to live near Wrexham so will I'm a Liverpool supporter I always watched for their results. Ryan Reynolds has been one of my favorite comedy actors since 2 guys, a girl and a pizza place, so to hear he bought the club was great. I was there for Mikey Thomas free kick and Wexham deserve 2 guys who clearly have the clubs best interests at heart
@@Dr.Acula76 Are you for real?! The glazers have spent £1.5bn over a decade on the United squad, 3rd biggest spenders in the world in that time, highest spenders in the world since the pandemic, just had the largest transfer window spend in history! Then look at your rivals in Liverpool, 4th highest earning club in the world, world record kit deal, world record shirt sponsor, yet way down in 14th in the world for net spend, 5th highest spender in the premier league, THAT’S shitty owners, or their owners before who took them to the brink of existence, it’s a fucking joke to hear United fans crying about the glazers, but really does ram home how entitled the fans are, complaining about owners that outspend everyone who isn’t a sugar daddy club. United literally invented buying titles
@@Dr.Acula76 Utter rubbish. United won the Europa league in 2017 with a new manager, that's the perfect time not to spend any money being a position of strength winning a trophy and qualifying for the CL, United spent £178m, brought in £40m, that's literally £10m below Klopp's net spend the entire time he's been at Liverpool, spent net £10m less in ONE WINDOW than Kloppo has in 7 years total. Bought Lukaku for £76.23m, Matic £40m, Sanchez £30m, Lindelof £31m so what a crock of bullshit you're chatting. £1.5bn in a decade ffs. All this Glazer blaming is is United fans looking for someone to blame for being shit for a decade, but it certainly isn't the owners, you have the 3rd highest wage bill in the league and that's only because of letting Pogba etc go this summer, you were higher than that before so again, nothing wrong with your owners, it's just a club that's been left behind so spunks cash on the wrong world class players to prove they're still a big club rather than building a squad
I’ve gone from interest every couple of years for major international tournaments to watching highlights of of 5th tier English football. The amazing power of story.
This is a real underdog story. I'm wishing you the best, Wrexham AFC. I hope someday you'll reach the Champions League and football's possibility is endless.
