We have looked at these homes in person, at least 5 times. 😊 we even got to meet The lovely host of these videos. I’ve also looked at some in Florida. The difference was nite and day in quality and craftsmanship .
I almost love this home. I love the openness and natural woodwork. I'd reduce the width of the kitchen island to make space for a dining table, I'd put the dramatic windows behind the TV or have the sofas face the front wall (not sure that's possible given the size). I'd put a double pocket closet door on the bedroom. Cmon! You can't walk around a closet like that with clothes in it. And I'd put a shampoo and soap nook in each of the showers. This things would help this home to from nice to outstanding!
I love the earthy colors on the outside. I would turn it into a one and a half bath and put the half bath in the master along with a walk-in closet. I would also add a huge storage pantry in the kitchen in place of the huge windows.
Love the cabin style... Love the master bathroom layout w double vanities and private toilet section w linen closets... The living room looks so roomy.. Will probably omit the middle of the 3 picture windows for TV placement for enjoyment of full size living room!
I really like the color scheme here. It feels really bright and airy. It's cute how your suit matches the exterior. The living room is really big, but the bedrooms are small. I like the large closet in the master bedroom -- but I think there should be an entry closet for coats as well. Of course, you're in Texas so maybe you all don't have as many coats as we have up north -- but coats take up a lot of space. That master bath is really large, which is nice -- but, again, I don't understand why you so often leave off any windows on the far outside wall.
This is by far the best laid-out house you've shown ( I've watched at least 30 videos) and it would be nice for a couple with one child, or just a couple where one or both needs to work from home. I love the wood cabinets, doors and trim and I think it's the perfect amount. I would have handles or knobs put on all of the doors and drawers and I would remove the center window in the living room so an entertainment center could be put there. I don't believe that there should be a TV in a bedroom and because of that my bed placement options are less limited. Having the side door into the guest bath and laundry area is a good idea and I would opt for having the washer and dryer IN the bathroom (I'd move the wall and door), rather than in the hall, but that is because that is what I've done where I live now and it's quieter with the door closed. So there is that!
I love the interior color scheme in The Sheffield. Very bright and let's in a lot of light. If I could make a suggestion? I think the island in the kitchen is too big and it takes up too much space. I would eliminate the island and just place a nice small round table and make that the breakfast/dining area. Everything else is perfect.
One item of note Mr Tiny, is that U tend to omit the dimensions of the bdrms regardless of the general size of the units. However, everything else about the units are mentioned basically.
Suggestion: TV could possibly be mounted to the wall and angled towards front wall sofa, a couple ft away from that little divider wall to kitchen. Hmm?
I like the layout of the home. Although if it was for me I would want a larger front window. The home colour would not be brown with green I’d prefer something a little lighter. I love the tile work in the kitchen and bathroom, I’d take it all the way up the sides of the kitchen windows though. The one thing in the bathroom I’d change would be the transom window in the shower. As I live way up north from Texas, as in northern Canada, a window near or in a shower just doesn’t work. For those big tv people, you could always install a projector style tv with a roll up screen.
I love this! With 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, it's hard to complain. I do have a few suggestions. Make the windows higher or what they call "sofa windows", so that a tv and or fireplace (with Christmas tree?) can be put on that wall. Also, a small coat closet or built in hall tree would be nice. The kitchen island is too large .otherwise ,perfect!
I think about where a Christmas tree would go too. They need a pull cabinet that is deep enough to put three cans in it. One for recycling, compost and garbage. It needs to be large enough tall cans can fit.
I love the hickory cabinets and cabin decor. I prefer the closets with the built in drawers and barn door, so I don't have to have an additional dresser in the smaller space. I'd love to see a small coffee station...
I like this style. Though one bath needs a combination bath tub shower. Main bedroom bath needs a pocket doors to the bathroom (s) or both bathroom. All the bedrooms need pocket doors. It let's you have more space. I would also turn that island around so the stool would face the living space. People like to hang out at the island and still speak to the family/friends in the livingroom.
Layout is nice, but too much wood tone throughout which makes it feel smaller. I would've liked to see white uppers in the kitchen at least. Sight lines are disrupted by all this including on the ceiling.
I like everything except the light feature on the fans. When having too change a burned out light bulb I would rather be able to take the bulb out without having to unscrew a cover first.
Pretty interior layout. 👏 But I don't like the exterior colors at all. Maybe if the window in front of house wasn't so small, the colors and style of porch would be more appealing. Ever do porches with a Victorian flair? Like a bit of gingerbread instead of crow's feet? Maybe a pair of shutters on that wishful bigger front window. Something more feminine. I'm sure there must be a good market for designs appealing to single women. Something to make our hearts melt. Besides the handsome man in the suit. Keep Smiling! ☺️✌️❤️🦋🙏
Hey Mr. Tiny, I really like your homes but I do have a question. How do they fair in storms? This is already starting out to be an active year, and I don’t anticipate they’ll calm down in years to come.
For some upright freezer space, you'll probably have to look at one of their larger homes, like this one: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tkp7i1bcKVU.html
I have to agree with you, it would be nice to have a tub 🛀 in either and a washer and dryer hookup , otherwise it’s a great little home , the best I’ve ever seen , love it !
Beautiful!!! Have you considered the idea of adding a loft and making this roommate-style. I'd use the loft as a storage and office space. Second room would be for guest.
My gawd, don't eliminate any of those gorgeous windows! Those tower dormers and huge window is the design element that distinguishes these over all the single plastic boxes!! Making it WAAAAAAAAY more aesthetically pleasing. I'm just gonna pretend nobody does that for a teevee. LOL
I did not care for the two patina lights I would have hungover a one big chandelier over there instead ilove porch swing and porch ilove d all the big widows all😂over the house I loved the realwoodcabin look I love thesheetrock inall of the whole buildilve it had two bathrooms but inthe bathroom inside the master bedroom it should have a spa bathtub and shower combination that way when one person is taking a shower say like a man inthe bathroom the woman could be having her down time soakinginherspabathtub bubble 🫧 bath 🛀 I love all the big kitchen appliances and how the kitchen looks allofit including kitchen sink and kitchen cabinets and the way the appliances are so accessible and the kitchen island and chairs I love how there is so much closet space and you always make sure they have access able washer and dryer hookups so all and all its great ☮️👍✝️✡️🗽😇🛀❤️🇺🇸💰🙏👼
Hey Tiny Tim, I love this model. The only thing I would say to improve on this one and future ones is making the closet opening bigger to the fullest extent of the closet without compromising structure. Other than that I liked everything else.
It’s a really beautiful designed home love the cabinets and closets plus the on suite bathroom 🚽 One thing missing is a hookup for a washer and dryer 🤷♀️don’t know where the washer and dryer will go 🤷♀️ this is just like a home , only smaller! Please figure a washer and dryer hookup in the next model, otherwise this is an excellent tiny home , this is something I can live in with out missing my larger home. What’s your land rental and what does it include if any and thank you 🙏
I did not see a washer and dryer hookup , maybe 🤔 I missed it, because I mentioned it would be nice to have that hookup in the future model, but otherwise the home is beautifully designed?!
