@@lorrainemoderate2816 that is so stupid, you can clearly see that the esky is restrained in the back seat. The Tim Tams and lollies going places would hardly be an issue, just a pain to clean up.

This once again shows what a joke our judicial system is, he rams a police car, does multiple other crimes and gets 12 months community service, woopee, what a joke. The judges should be sent to trial for not doing their jobs
@@stoopidapples1596 Its a common Interrogation tactic, if the victim believes that the police have got them pinned, they'll usually give up as they see no point in fighting. Regardless what the cops tell her or not.
The cops are the least of her concerns now. The cops aren't the ones who have to live to rest of their lives wondering if her "friend" is going to try and get back at her for dobbing them in to send them to prison. She may have done the right thing, by telling them, but with "Friends" like that, you never know what they're going to do :/
all she had to do was say "no comment until i can get legal advice and a lawyer present" she does not have to answer any questions without a lawyer present, the cops use threats and intimidation to get answers out of her, people really need to educate themselves on how to deal with police questioning and learn their rights, if she had of not answered any questions she cant get in trouble for what happened she can go to court and say the driver is at fault not her and she had no control over the situation, it would have been thrown out of court with no charges.

He said mandatory two year loss of license to the girl.... actual driver did multiple runners after the first time and only lost it for 18 months. So much for the mandatory two years.
Well not sure in Aussieland, but always are generally based on similar jurisprudence to the UK. If I get a camera ticket for speeding, I either have to ‘fess up that I was the driver or identify who was. If I fail to disclose I am liable to prosecution for the additional offence of “Obstruction”. However if I knowingly cop for the ticket - in the full knowledge I was not the driver - I too will also be done for obstruction - and MP got his wife to do that and she went to Jail as did he. (Chris Huhne) So in this case the Police where rightly advising her how the law would play out if she was take a particular route. She was sensible in coughing.
