HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) Session Music Track. 1:2 ratio with 30 second high intensity, and 60 second rest period. 11 reps, with a final 30 second burst.
This is a perfect workout set-up for beginners who are new to HIIT (High Intensity Interval training). This 17 minute workout can be done up to 3 times per week until you feel you are ready to move on to the next level (video coming soon!). For some people it takes 1 week for other it takes 2 weeks or more. Go at your own pace until you feel you are ready.
Because the session is so quick you can easily incorporate this HIIT session into your busy schedule.
Use this music track with any exercise you wish. My favourite is the stationary bike, but you could also do running either outdoors or on the treadmill, jump rope, even jumping jacks! The possibilities are endless.
The key to HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) is to spike your heart rate, return it to a resting rate and repeat throughout the session.
HIIT (High Interval Intensity Training) has been credited as being an excellent way to burn fat and more effective than the conventional cardio workouts.
It is usually recommended that HIIT is done no more than 3 times per week, as rest in between sessions is very important.

Thank you so much for this. This helps to keep the momentum up and makes time go by faster. Funny how 30 seconds isn't enough time pick out something to wear but 30 seconds of full blast sprinting seems like 5 minutes

That’s wild I stopped sprinting to walk on rest, but I stoped and leaned over and it said one day it’ll be your warm up. Made me start walking again lol

Hi Sarah, with this video it's 30 seconds workout and 60 seconds rest. I would imagine as long as you go hard during the workout period and then rest during the 60 second rest period, you wouldn't need to repeat the video (You can if you want). If the the workout gets too easy then it's probably time to move onto level 3 (there are 4 levels, and then some varied HIIT versions too). Just remember with HIIT the point isn't to do a long 30 minute workout per say, it's more about getting your heart rate up and then bringing it down during the rest period (this way you get a workout without needing to spend 30 minutes or more to get similar effects). I hope later to make some short 8 minute workouts that still give you a comparable workout. It's all about working smarter (more effectively) than harder (long workout). Glad your liking the video's =P
