To all you adults that are upset the new teenagers are skipping the awkward phase, just know that there are plenty of people at my high school that are not (myself included)
@@ArielleIce I guess, child to teen to adult transition is overall awkward and something we can all relate to so adults might just feel a little different from today's kids not having an awkward phase (to I guess cringe about later on to the same level).

Teen girls today are so fashionable. They have all these resources on how to be good at makeup and wear flattering clothes. And I wore ratty t shirts and jeans every day, had a collection of hair ties I wore as bracelets, and slathered on the eyeliner...
Its also a problem because alot of kids try to dress all nice and older then they are. the fashion is bluring as to what is being sold to 20s and teens. Ive met so many guys tht are like ya i almost hooked up with this girl then i found out she was 15 when she said 18. Ive had tht in dating too i almost met a guy, he looked like he was in his 20s, ripped not a baby face at all, his clothes looked 20s, then he was like btw im 17 is tht okay, i just blocked and reported. Im terrified of kids these days and what they do😆 i dont kw if i would have any.
It's like the internet has completely eradicated the "awkward" phase. Girls now can easily figure it all out without asking anyone in their lives for help or having to beg their mom to buy them beauty and fashion mags.
@@etjetjtej5820 That’s not a problem. Their fashion is not what makes them like that. Also, did your friends or you ever bother to ask them their age first? If they lie about their age that’s a mentality and parenting problem. If you didn’t ask, you’re fucking weird.
In our muslim school students have a uniform so everyone looks the same, but when it comes to events atudents are allowed to dress down and its always interesting to see middle and high school girls wearing fashionable dresses and high heel boots and intricate hijab styles whilst i, a teacher, am dressed in a plain black abaya and pink hijab😂
Lowkey mad at myself for not using that hair band trick in the past 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️ I use to use a pin which would end up opening up and pricking me 😢😌

ahaha im personaly in middle school but my older sister had it and still does and i want to be like her so bad so every time i see it i think of her and it makes me happy
It's just social media makes us feel like we need to act 20 when we're like 13 or else we're "cringe", "ugly" or "gross". I've seen kids at my age hurt themselves because they don't look like all the Tiktokers and models online and then they upset because they look like a kid (like they're supposed to) but then when they dress up and post pictures online they get harassed because they look a lot older then they actually are. A lot of teens are very self conscious and the internet is not helping with that but making them feel a lot more pressured to be "perfect", I really feel bad for my generation.
Ppl at my called me cringe for be overly excited at my school when really it my personality i cant help it, not only that im 18 yrs old looking 14 ppl Ik put a lot pressure on me personally to look like a “perfect model” in society and im personally am not the person to dress up much, cause i feel so Zamn comfortable wearing baggy clothes!!~DID I REALLY JUST FRICKING WRITE THAT😭😭
That's what I am going through right now. I'm 13 but am for some reason society expects to act like an adult. And all my classmates are really inappropriate. I have been asked out but have to say no because I'm not ready. I'm literally in 7th grade.
It's like how we made fun of JoJo Siwa at 16 for acting too young and now that she's 18, (I think) has come out of the closet and changed her style, everyone likes her now.
Girlll I gave you Views!! Last night I was watching my phone and fell asleep WHILE the video was playing (it was on silent) and the next morning I woke up and the video was still playing😂😂😂
My old friend wears a hijab and she was so cute!! She always had the brightest smile when we would talk bout her food and how much I loved it. She loved her hijab 😭
I also think social media can help in that aspect. Bc back than the hacks you found were on magazines and what your friends did. Now you can look up tortorials for make up and whatnot
Mine was 4th and 5th grade, it was horrible, mismatched neon clothing that was way too big on me, luckily I had uniforms, so that was only outside of school
It's only certain people on social media that look like that. I see teenagers everyday and a lot of them don't look like the people I see on the Internet. Afterall, the "less good looking" people are hardly seen online since most people want to look at "good looking" people. So the good looking people are the ones that are often trendy or in people's recommendations.
as someone still in high school, the second one is absolutely still true! a hijabi girl in my art class looks almost exactly like the second one every day. i think only the teenagers who try really hard to look nice are on/popular on social media, so it seems like there's more than before. really cool to see a phenomenon like that in motion! :D
ok but the 'hijabis' at my school wear it with no undercap, throw on a whole lotta makeup, try and rIzZ up boys and talk about everyone.and those are only the grade 7 ones.
I feel like teenagers this day have way more style and makeup knowledge than I or my friends had 15 years ago 😅 they all put me to shame. And the photo proof will be deeply buried in Facebook archives lol.
I mean it’s a new generation so of course the style is gonna be different it’s ok if you didn’t dress like teens today do 15 years ago I mean that was a while ago....the style was different then hahaha
@@Isabel-sr8ep nah you don't understand. It's not about style. It's about skill. Millenial and older didn't have RU-vid to teach us how to wear makeup. We had magazines, but that can't explain it as well. So we struggled lol
Nah ppl my age still suck at doing their hijab, including me bcuz only the ppl who are over 18 actually can do it fashionable and waay better than us lol
Son of God does not mean that God has a child in Christianity! *what a mistake in the Qur'an!* Son of God are 2 titles one referring to the Word of God and one referring to creation (humans, angels, demons)
*what a mistake in the Qur'an!* Allah himself testifies that he has a son and he is the son as Christians understand it! Only the Koran writer was too ignorant to know what Son of God means! I’m not Muslim but I love seeing all the different hijabs!!!! Every time I see someone with one on I always comment how beautiful it is ❤️❤️❤️❤️ stay blessed and safe Edit: OMG 10k likes 😱 thank you!!! I promise my comment is genuine and I don’t agree with all the negative under my comment. Stay safe ❤️
My school didn’t allow hijabs so Muslim girls had to change school but now I’m happy to see there’s more and more schools accepting hijabs. You look stunning btw
So does your school accept girls wearing the hijab now or still no? It’s a real shame if they don’t but I’m glad to hear more schools are accepting of it there
@@aesira7552 I already graduated from school but last year I saw a girl in hijab so I guess they accept. Not allowing hijab was quite weird because i live in a republic where there’s basically 50/50 Russian and Tatar people and a lot of Tatar people are Muslim. There’s a lot more Muslim people comparing to different areas of Russia. That was the whole point of the initial comment
I promise you, teens skipping the awkward phase is only on social media. Nobody I know is actually like this and I’m nearly 14. It’s so annoying that old people see kids on social media and assume we all are like that.😭
Don't worry not all of us "old people" think that way. I was a black sheep/misfit when I was younger. I was awkward until I was in my 20s. Be proud of who you are. You will get over it. 😁 I'm only 51 but have a grandson who just turned 13.
That is not even good. I’m glad most of you doesn’t act this way. It’s so weird to see Muslim girl acting that way while the Aim of hijab is to cover our beauty SubhanAllah. May Allah swt guide us all to the right path.
Everyone at my school is like that. I’m in middle school and the 8th graders be lookin like seniors in high school like I’m not even joking. But ig it helps when everyone at my school are rich white kids.
Im not a hijabi teenager but i can assume that as a 14 year old we are NOT skipping the "weird" and "akward","terrible acne" phase but i actually got the phases when i was 9-13 years old. I basically got the phases earlier than most of the 2000s kids.
we didnt have an “awkward phase” cuz of the shaming on social media that kind of taught us what is and isn’t acceptable so we just got fashionable i guess.
Well that’s sad as social media most of the time doesn’t really align with our values especially Islamic teachings and allahs way :/ Like no we shouldn’t be putting on perfume before leaving the house when we know we’ll that we’ll be meeting other non mihram men. Who’ll probably get a wiff of the perfume It’s just not the look or acts of a modest muslimah May Allah protect us from deception, corruption and false hood (from the fittan of the masih al dajjal)🙏🏻🌸

Artistic Fruit loops They as in who? Creative where? Literally _only_ cosplayers doing actual art are creative. Everyday girls all have the same unnatural-looking face now. It’s awful.

Everyone’s talking about how fashionable teens are these days and they didn’t go through an awkward phase. Meanwhile I was a teen not that long ago, in the mid to late 2010s (I’m 21 now, born in 2000) and we all damn sure went through awkward phases (some of us still in them, *cough cough me)
Ok but see I was born in 2001 and same but I swear ik it's only a few years younger but like senior year all the freshmen like looked so perfect all the time I swear
@@meagan1510 Maybe those few years does make the difference? I’m not sure. Edit: I’m pretty sure that even when I was in my final year of high school (17-18 years old) none of the kids in the lower years looked more fashionable or anything. We all looked like dorky schoolkids 😆
OK, but the "me as a teenager" version seems like a happier, more supportive, and fun person. Why do the "teens now" always act SO serious and weirdly sexual? Y'all underaged
@@xxglowenxx They just be living life tho, if you think something a literal child is doing is "sexual" then the problem is with your mentality, not them
I just want to quickly point out that not all the teens act like that. (I think the majority doesn't, it's just that the ones that are acting sexual and serious are also often the ones being all over social media while the rest doesnt stand out that much)
@@bhavs398 I understand what op is saying. She’s right, preteen and younger teens do give more sexual vibes these days and it is disturbing. Her eyes in the first one look dramatically different than in the second look. Second look, her eyes look more innocent and cheerful. I don’t want to say teens have to hide that they’re exploding sexually, I just think it shouldn’t be so obvious bc it puts them in a situation where they could be taken advantage of. Just my two cents though.

My friend used to wear a hijab and her hair used to show but I was so young I didn’t know anything about this. We were kids. Once my little sister and I got invited to their house for a birthday dinner and non of the girls were wearing their hijab and we were so surprised! We had so many questions. It was so cool because it was the first time we had ever seen something like this before. They we’re happy to answer all of our questions. ❤
I'm not even that old, i'm 20, and I technically was still a teenager last year 😆 but I feel like pre-teen girls like 13 and 14 years old nowadays try SO HARD to look like they are in their mid-tweenties... why, it's like were going to back to the middle ages where girls were supossed to be married by the age of 15
Yeah that’s the correct way to word it. Someone said they act sexual but that’s not true for most of them, it’s more that they’re trying to act and look mature or professional or cool, not sexy.
I think it depends on where you come from.for ex im 12 yo and i have many 13,14,15 yo cousins and none of them wear makeup,or act older. Or in my country, there is almost no bullying.because theres a standard uniform for everyone at schools.girls cant wear makeup,or jewellery becuz there are people who cant afford that.not even phones.
There are a few hijabi girls in my school (one of them happens to be one of my friends who is super sweet) and every time I see them they always are wearing their hijab like the second one That’s pretty cool that’s theres different ways you can style it! I don’t wear a hijab but they look so cool and I’m always fascinated whenever I see somebody wearing one!

The fact that I went through the second phase when I was in the 4th grade (I became a hijabi during 4th grade) and now that I’m in the 6th grade makes me feel soo good that I went through the second phase without anyone making fun of me because it was how you where supposed to wear it in my school and now I’m so happy that I can wear my hijab in a more enhanced way🫀
