Oh boy... i needed this SO much! Lockdown is on us again, here in Italy, so seeing this makes me wanna resist that urge to get out there and CREATE! (and potentially get in trouble) Thank you so much, Kraig! Much love, as always. ❤
Hiking should still be permitted... it is so easy to just get lost in the middle of nowhere with no one else around. Quite corona proof if you ask me 👌😂
anyone else think that one of the best noises in the world is the sound of hiking boots crushing the trail? edit: thanks for the likes guys, much love, also check out some videos I made :-))
13 years ago my wife and I got engaged in that stone hut you stopped in on the way down to the Tonto platform. Such a great hike. Thank you for sharing your adventures. We watch them every morning with our coffee to wake up.
This hike makes me want to go to the Grand Canyon even more. Loved it. I’m so tired of being in lockdown. Thank you for taking me there. Loved it!🤗😘🌼🇻🇪
I've been there too and enjoyed the most beautiful sunrise ever. You are doing a great and passionate job. Acctually its not a job; it's art! Thanks for giving me the feeling i am right there again.
Absolutely inspiring video! I walked the Canyon twice, but disabled now so your video brought back wonderful memories, like always find shade when one rests. Thank you so very much for providing this great video.
This is EXACTLY what I needed today. The Grand Canyon is always such a welcomed distraction and your videos are always so beautifully done. Thank you for giving me all the canyon feels today when I needed it the most.
I hiked down bright angel and up South kaibab trail. Hiking down wasn't much but, the hike out was probably the hardest thing i have ever done. And all i wanna do is go back and do it again. That place is like another world.
In my country a young woman is lost now for i think over a month. She was hiking by her self. We dont have any mountan lions or any other dangerous animal that could harm a human. Everytime i see you hiking alone is reminding me of how dangerous it is, so im glad you took your borther with you.
Always such a joy to tag along with you on your meandering routes. It's like living out different lives, all at the same time. I love the experience. Thank you! : )
I've never been this early to one of your videos so just wanted to say THANK YOU for inspiring me to start backpacking this year. It has brought so much joy to my life.
I did this exact route last spring and wanted to rewatch your video. You are an absolute animal. Hermit's to Indian Garden in a day is just beast mode. By the time I got to Monument I wanted to collapse bc my knees hurt so bad. Absolutely beautiful video like all of yours!
Kraig, you did it again!! Thank you for sharing this awesome video of the Grand Canyon! You are killing it in the filmmaking and you without a doubt get better and batter every video. Keep up the amazing work and can't wait for the next adventure!
Your work is truly exceptional! Once I see you are back, I instantly take a look. The pace and photography throughout is superb. Thanks for doing what you do so very well.
Hi Kraig. Another fantastic video. Banking more content to throw in another 4 hour composite !! Because I watch it endlessly ! I love your film making.
This is a good introductory hike for hiking the entire Tonto Trail bc it teaches you two important lessons. Lesson 1: the trail almost always follows the contour before it begins a steep descent into a major creek bed Lesson 2 : Before you begin your major descent eyeball the trail coming out of creek bed
Loved it as always Kraig! Enjoyed the company of Kurt too, it was nice to hear the conversation between you guys on the trail. There’s times when solo is nice, but enjoying the company of a close friend/ family member is also one of my favourite ways to hike.
yayyyyy!! I'll save this for tomorrow when my internet is fixed for the full 4K experience. I love your work Kraig! Edit: Bad idea watching this on TV. Best experienced with Headphones on! Badass sound editing
This channel & Adventure Archives are my go-to for hiking videos. Your ability to highlight the majestic & immense scale of nature is always top tier. I joke that these videos are like the super-hero video game reviewers "This video makes you feel like Kraig Adams"
Really nice. I think it's impossible to truly capture how fantastic that scenery is with video or photographs, but you've got as close to it as anything I've seen in a long time. It's been 17 years since I was in that part of the canyon, but many of the sights you showed are still in my memory.
Beautiful video! I dont know if there are any other geologists/earth scientists over here but at 4:22 and 7:29 the unconformities between the metamorphic basement rocks and the overlying horizontal sedimentary rocks is soo cool!
