Hiking at Jumper Creek Wildlife Management Area 

Let’s take a hike at Jumper Creek Wildlife Management Area located near the Withlacoochee River. It’s a scenic and wild area along the swamps by the river. Lots of trails and off the beaten path places to explore. I enjoy the lush wilderness, wildlife and old trees throughout the area. There are couple of access points once you drive into the wildlife management area. You can pull off and explore in these various areas. Be sure to have a map of the area and know your location at all times while exploring here. It can be easy to get lost and some trails haven’t been used in many years.
