Our day began at Cooinbil Hut in Kosciuszko National Park, NSW. We spent the previous day and the following days exploring Long Plain and all it has to offer.
We made our way to Coolamine Homestead which was incredible. So much history and it was crazy to see the old newspapers used for insulation still on the walls from the 1800's.
Our big adventure for the day began at Blue Waterholes Campground. We left our vehicle and departed on a 5-hour hike along Clarke Gorge Walking Track. We didn't realise the river crossings would be so intense but we successfully crossed Cave Creek 7 times to get to Cooleman Falls. It was a seriously epic adventure and like nothing we had done before. So glad we made it all the way to the beautiful waterfall.
We camped the night at Blue Waterholes Campground ready for our next adventure along Nichols Gorge Walking Track the next day (coming in the next vlog).
Filmed January, 2022.

On your return walk you would have passed the 2 exits of Barber Cave, one wet and one dry. The cave also has two entrances and it's basically an older, dry cave above the present active cave with the creek flowing through it. Well worth a visit!

Great spot! bummer about the accidental swim, lol. Yep, always better to wade with the shoes on... just not great to dry afterwards if you've got goretex boots.

A bummer but a funny memory. It's all part of the experience 😂 indeed, our boots are goretex... took a while but don't regret it at all!
