Many years ago, while my mom and I were traveling in Switzerland, I ran short on Swiss Francs (the local currency) and did not want to get any more money since we were leaving the country the next day. Although we were high up in the Alps, I convinced my mom we could hike down the side of the mountain on a paved road (instead of taking the aerial tram), and we could save $10! My mom reluctantly agreed to my plan...and well, things we awry a short while after we started our descent down the mountain.Join me for a HILARIOUS travel adventure which includes wildlife, waterfalls and a raging river!!! What a way to save some money 🤣. Whenever I have a plan to save money and it’s not really a good plan after all, my husband always asks me, how much is your time worth? Sometimes my brilliant plan to save money actually costs me more in time and other resources used trying to save a few bucks, lol. I can’t wait for your next video. Have a great day.

Used to climb all kinds of stuff but especially rock formations. After a couple incidents where I found myself not being able to see where my next step would land on the way down (if there was anything for it to land on), I realized that one needs to prepare as much or more for descents as ascensions. Not exactly the same circumstances, but the lesson is the same 😊

I hope you have a lovely trip. Was this trip before you were on a ventilator? How much does your ventilator limit where you can go? (I have problems on higher hills and planes, So I have got into cruising as I can hope with sea level. the only problem is the cost.)

Yes, this was before I used a ventilator. The only place where my ventilator seems to limit where I can go is in the water--swimming, snorkeling and diving are not good activities to do. For cruising, look for sales during major holidays. Most cruises go on sale during holidays. Also, if you can do last minute cruising, you can get some really good deals too. Additionally, if you sail on older ships, prices tend to be cheaper. (The big ships with the fancy water slides are usually quite expensive.)
