This was supposed to be a 2.6 mile round trip but wound up being a 6.6 mile hike for us. There were trails off to the side that we ventured onto. If you want a casual hike then take the dotted trail on the map at the end of this video. You can compare it to our GPS track right after. Hoping this helps for anyone wanting to hike this trail and may make a wrong turn. Also pretty much the whole East side of the trail is in the sun. The rest of it runs through wooded areas. The standard trail is well taken care of. But if you wander off the main trail, then you may go through some thicker grassed trails.
