Hiking Off Trail and Weird Dancing - Father and Daughter Day Hike Adventure 

I'm watching this nearly five years after it was posted; it's amazing how things change in such a short span of time, but how timeless certain aspects of parenthood can be. At present, Maddie is in the USNavy, training or performing her chosen specialty. The only thing that has changed is time, where you and Susie are concerned; you two are likely just as proud of your daughter now as when the video was posted. She's a wonderful commingle of the two of you. Her mother's voice and laugh, as well as facial features, are plain; her eyes seem to come from dear ol' Dad. I'd say it's a perfect balance. You both have ample reason to be proud of this young lady.

They look like they have the same sense of humor. In the beginning they even laughed the same way at the same time. Adorable! Love these two! More Pop and Daughter adventures please! Too cute👍

First time finding this video after watching so many of your more recent videos. This is also the first video I saw with your daughter. What a beautiful family you have. Finally seen a video with your daughter in it prior to her job description and location being classified. Fantastic! stay well and enjoy the outdoors as usual. You’re such a inspiration and your daughter it was great staying so enthusiastic. More families should get outdoors with their kids especially these days.

Isn't it great to be able to share the outdoors with your kids? I love going on hikes/backpacking trips with my son. He is 15 as well and just a great all around kid. Well I know this is many years late. But as a person who lived in Japan for 15 years I can tell you I’ve done many hikes with Japanese people and food. Now that I’m back in Australia I even still get some J food together for my trips.

Full circle my friend Some of my favorite memories are being out in the outdoors with my dad and brothers Then latter being outdoors with my two daughters They are 26 and 27 now, but we still try to get out together camping at least once a year Even simple day hikes like you did today can bring lasting memories
