Very well done video, I enjoyed it very much. I don't know if it is just the camera or not, but watching the video, there were a bunch of "nope" moments for me where I know that I will never be on top of that peak. Once on top though, it was cool to see a bunch of places that I have been and a bunch more I want to go to. But I am glad that you guys took us along!
I’ve avoided this hike for years but just found this video, thank you! I think we can make it happen this summer and I’d not have attempted otherwise. Hope to see you on trail one day!!!
awesome hike looks to be one of best peaks in i-90 area can't wait till I can check it off list! Love looking down to areas I've hiked to like that view of snow & gem lakes for some reason!
I would love to come and fish there. Non resident Veterans are treated really great in Washington on the price of an annual license. It's only about $15 more than it is for a Utah state regular annual liscence. Half of what most surrounding areas charge. Thanks again for the info!
Another great video! Living and hiking in WA I always wonder if I will see you two. Do you have any trips to the Olympics planned, Mt Ellinor and Mt Townsend are very cool. Ellinor is a total goat-o-rama there are so many scampering about.
We've heard about Ellinor, but have yet to plan anything over there this summer. Maybe a beach trip, or maybe a mountain. We will be looking into this, thanks for the recommendations! :)
Thanks Sam! Actually we just signed up tonight. Hoping to score something towards the backend of September. Oh, and I still have three videos from last summers Enchantment trip. Don't want to spoil the details, but it's coming. As soon as I get back from our trips abroad. :D
Hey you two! Question for ya: How would you compare the hike itself, minus the scramble, to other hikes in terms of incline difficulty? I’ve done Si with little issue a few times (both new and old Si), but I’m trying to gauge my endurance for this one. The steepest I’ve done so far 6 times now for training is Cable Line on Tiger Mountain. It’s not super high, but it’s relentlessly steep and kicks my ass every time. Any experience with that one or other trails in and around Issaquah to compare with Kaleetan? Thanks in advance! And thanks for posting these videos they’re super helpful!
Hello again. Those lakes are amazing. I would like to come up and stay back there for a few days. Do you know if they are good for fishing? Are they still snowed in right now? As usual, thanks for sharing this with us.
