I have the 18v version that is branded as a Hitachi. It does not fit the 36v batteries. Electrically it's right, but they won't physically fit. I had to trim the plastic back with a file and a Dremel. It looks really good, you'd never know it was trimmed, but it would have been easy to make a mess of it.
Check out Wessel-Werk if you're interested in floor nozzle design. They make attachments and nozzles for some of the leading vacuums like Miele and Sebo. I have a two floor nozzles from them and they're the best I've ever used. Thanks again for showing us a less common machine state-side!
I've been very disappointed that they do t bring those out here. I have the 18v one. One big problem with them is the warranty. Metabo hpt multivolt tools have a lifetime warranty. I think Hikoki is 5 years. I dont know if they will try to void it if you import it, but they have been pretty good about the us tools so I'd be surprised if they tried to screw you. I'd tell them something like, I bought it for work when they had me over in Japan, or some such.
