Greet video! I am setting uw my home camera’s and nvr. Camera’s and nvr booth have acusense built in. If I understand correctly, I cannot use facial recognition and smart events like line crossings simultaneously on the dvr. I wanted both, so my thought was to enable the line crossing in the camera directly and use the nvr,s acusense for the facial recognition by disabling “AI by device” for tat camera in the nvr. So far little luck, so I wanted to ask you if this workaround is even possible? Thanks Barry

Are all these cameras acusense compatible? Do you think face recognition function works on normal cameras as well if the NVR is acusense compatible?

if you enable face i.d tho will the Acusense still work or does it disable that to?

Thanks for the video , but the face detection option must be existe in the camera and the dvr in the same time for the twins, or just in dvr can work even if camera doesn't have the option ?

Hai, may I know what is the major difference between iDS-HUHI-M1/FA. and. iDS-HUHI-M1/S. The model ending with S seems a bit expensivethan FA model even without facial recognition feature. Any performance difference in S model ? Pls help Thank You!

Hi, I have go an IP camera and this NVR. I don't get a face detection option with I check the settings for the IP camera. I only get line detection, intrusion, unattended object and object removal

Is it possible to automtically add faces to the database, when a camera detects a (up until now unknown)face? What i would like, is to have a database of faces of al people waling by. When one of these pays me a unattended visit during the night, the nvr recognises the face, and i can math it with a face that has been taken previously in better conditions. This, when a burglar checks your iventory during the day, he will be matched during the night as well.

Hi. Your videos are great with lots of info but why do Hikvision sell such poor DVR's. I have 4x 5mp Colorvu cameras connected to the DS-7204HUHI-K1/P DVR installed by a Hikvision agent. On playback the DVR is not capable of playing 4 cameras (one window is black) even playing 3 cameras the fps is very poor. For best results you can only playback 2 cameras at a time. When changing which cameras to look at there is quite a bit of lag, you also get lag when scrolling through the footage. Basically the DVR is not powerful enough to handle 5mp cameras yet Hikvision still sell them to customers.
