Great start into deepinmind. but nobody can see differences an the deepinmind NVRs. but YOU CAN! make a series, or please tell me here the main difference of the video-model to the iDS-7716NXI-I4/X(B) .... can you? thx..
Hi , thanks for the feedback , the X NVR can do Face recognition OR perimeter protection and has better performance against the older face Rec NVRS , and as we do it now in this 77 series the older Face Rec units where 9000 series ,so it will also be a cost attracted offering , I will try to do a video of course 😊
So you could specify the search range to be, say, from the date of the very first video to even today, the date of the last video? Would that not take a long time?
Do the cameras also have to be compatible in order for these recognition features to be produced? Or can you have the lowest HIKVISION camera and still have these features show?
Hi , we highly recommend to use the cameras recommended for this to work an give accurate results, technically you can use a standard camera but it wont have the optimisation to get the best results so wouldn’t recommend
Great videos, any known issues with this nvr , can it comfortably cope with 8x 8mp color u cameras, or will it struggle ? I can't find any processor or ram info on any of the nvrs, do you know what processors they use?
Quick question. On a hik Poe nrv do all cables for camera have to go back to the box or can you use a switch in another building. Would be great to do a few faq videos. See bamford rose Channel for example.
Hi Alex , we plan on doing webinars for open questions as well as planned tech walk through’s , regards the Question , we can support direct POE from the NVR or adding via the LAN port, to add a camera via the LAN port you simply go into the camera menu, and change the relevant POE port on the NVR from Plug&play to manual , then input the IP address of the camera you want to add ( must match the LAN IP address range) then username and password and it will connect that way , you can also turn the POE function off on the latest NVR GUI and on the I series it will make the POE port a switch port as there is only 1 LAN port so still segregating the traffic if that makes sense, that method you still manually add the camera as above but the IP address range would be that of the internal port range IE 192.168.254.x by default. Hope this makes sense?

Can i get the feature of live face recognition buy only having this nxi nvr and acusense camera that Only captures the face, OR i have to buy deepinview camera that supports face recognition?
Is better to have more samples for one people, or is better only one? When more than one, how many is enough? Is there any possibility to backup whole database for face recognition? btw - i have this product used for 250 peoples and and it gives very random results. With a veil, the success rate is 50 to 50. I'm very disappointed in that. Support in my country have very limited knowledge with this system ...
hi, do you not have to use a facial recognition compatible camera for the nvr to detect face id? are there any nvr by hikvision you can recommend and camera's that work really well together with face id?
Hi Eddy , generally its fast , but there are times it takes a little longer, I am awaiting a firmware to see if we can improve this across the general performance , also its down the settings on the camera a lot , as I have tweaked the settings on the FR camera to output in a specific way , we do have people use them for access control but as we have dedicated FR access control terminals which are fast , fitted at the right height and place , this will perform a lot better
Just a little confused from your video; does facial recognition work for all camera types with the deep in mind NVR? Or do you also need facial rec specific cameras at the same time?
Hi , it actually will work with any camera, BUT if you use the camera that supports face capture the results are better to be honest and faster , and you have more adjustment and optimisation , so I would always use a camera with that function but it’s not technically essential , I hope this helps 😊
