Hikvision NVR is on 192.168.254.1 and camera is on 192.168.254.2 and NVR is isolated, NOT connected to a router or a LAN. Cables is connected in the correct slot in back of the NVR. But still I get the message "Network is unreachable"
I'm not sure what you mean by "Hivision NVR is on 192.168.254.1 and camera on 192.168.254.2" since the NVR interface must have a different IP range. Can you please explain how is your setup based on the video? Please pause the video in 2:52 and compare with your NVR, then let me know what you have there for the DHCP range and Internal NIC. (The range must be different). Tell me and I probably will be able to help you.
Good video, I have the same issue with my Annke security camera, but unfortunately I can’t sorted, I must be doing something wrong with the ip address as I have check the rest and is all connected
Are you trying o add the camera via the ONVIF protocol? Hikvision devices "speak" the Hikvision Protocol, Annke devices "speak" the Annke protocol, so they can't "speak" direclty to eatch other unless they use a common "language"(protocol) such as ONVIF. So the Hikvision NVR supports such protocol, I'm not sure about your camera since I don't have any Annke camera. Please check the camera's manual/manufacturer support to make sure it has ONVIF and then setup the Hikvision NVR to use it.
I connect my Hikvision cameras to the POE ports on my Hikvision NVR...i already configure the IP on the cameras also..but still doesnt appears error keeps saying...IP camera Does not exist...any ideas have to fix this?
You don't need to configure the IP in the camera if you are using Hikvision camera + Hikvision NVR. The NVR will give the camera the IP as long as you leave it the way it came from the factory (with DHCP). check this video for more. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-A6v64PYrx5E.html
@@bestsecuritydevices thanks for the feedback...So i follow the step in video link...but still didnt help...I also tried Factory resseting NVR and Camara error still appear. Just to mention only when i connect the camera using the POE ports on the MVR it show the error of unreacheable Network, but when i connect camera and configure it using the External Network, NVR recognizes camera and it works. Not sure what im during wrong..any other advice? Thanks.
There’s a button to skip the video to the point you want to watch. But no, you prefer to complain and complain and point fingers… perhaps you can do something better for FREE instead of keep complaining like a spoiled child
Great video. I have 16port nvr,and connected on it 6 cameras, but now they want another 4ip cameras through poe switch. So the nvr is already connected to the Lan and i have only available cable from the router/modem,but i run 2 cables to the place were the poe will be.If I disconnected the Nvr from the Lan,and connect to the poe switch and comeback from the poe to the Nvr only,is gonna be any problem or how can I do it.Thanks cheers from Chicago

During the explanation I talk about the network addresses, ports, etc. did you pay attention to that? Check if those things are right? I’m just explaining different possibilities and you guys need to take action and check on that.
