The pitcher in the clip with Adrian Beltre is Felix Hernandez and they are really good friends who always messed with each other when they played against the other so Beltre definitely wasn't mad he was just keeping a straight face while his friend was joking with him, but you guys should check out Beltre he was one of funniest players in baseball history
I second the recommendation about Adrian beltre. Great character, funny guy and one of the best third baseman ever to play. For some reason beltre HATED people touching his head, so of course his teammates respected his boundaries and never once messed with him about it😉
Corey Kluber is just like that, from what I understand. Best player on the team but not real outgoing. This probably wasn't his first time having teammates try to get a rise out of him while he was doing an interview. And I think he trusts his teammates to not do anything *too* stupid while the cameras are on him.
Beltre fooled around more than anyone in baseball. Dude just loved the game. He was responsible for more silliness than anyone else, actually probably more than entire teams were. He wasn't angry at Felix Hernandez. The only thing that Beltre DOESNT actually like is when I people touch his head, which you can see he teammates doing to him (usually Elvis Andrus) before they take off running. Do a video on just him, you'll see, dude is a legend.
At 4:00 that's Pedro Martinez being tied up, he's a legendary pitcher but notably he's a starting pitcher, so on the days he isn't pitching he's not very likely to be involved in the game. He also had a bit of a mouth.
Love your guys’ reactions you guys crack me up. Since you’re up on your baseball knowledge I’d recommend getting a Yankee reaction in there, most world championships with 27, most successful American sports organization ever. There’s a video called “New York Yankees Top 10 moments since 1990” which was ironically posted by a page called Atlanta Braves Recap. I think it’d be cool to see you guys check out the more recent highlights in Yankee history. And who knows maybe one day you guys will even wanna dive a little farther back into their history, keep doing great work!
The Kluber thing was definitely not pre-planned. Kluber is known as one of the most even tempered guys in the game. None of the baseball pranks are pre-planned. They always mess with guys when they're being interviewed. Kluber is just being the "Mr. Calm" that he's known for.

Hey fellas, as I want to see you guys grow this channel to larger than all those other reaction channels that pale in comparison to yours and I think I've had some reasonably good recommendations in the past (Jon Bois, Ted Lasso, Lawrence Taylor etc.), there's a whole world out there of learning about US and other culture/history that I personally would love to see you guys explore. You've already managed to absorb just about everything about American sports in less than a year - with your already large fanbase, I think many of us would just as earnestly watch you guys learn history by reacting to channels like Oversimplified. This type of content always seems to be a goldmine for viewership (for example, videos on the US Revolutionary war against Britain or the American Civil War) and considering the clout you already have, it might be worth considering in addition to doing what you guys already do best! I've done a similar thing to a guy being an ass at a party except there was a foot of snow on the ground when we tied him up. Dicking around in the dugout was so much fun growing up playing baseball.
I have never won a random contest like this, but I have an uncle who has crazy luck for random drawings and such. Nick is cooler than the other guy lol
12:27 is an embarrassment. Aaron Harang (despite wearing catching gear for some reason) is a starting pitcher who wasn’t starting that day. He could have stood there until the umpire ejected him from the game if he needed to and it would’t have hurt his team at all.
