25 years later and another one of my favorite childhood direct-to-video flicks by director Sean McNamara It’s far better than the previous film ‘A Spirited Beginning’ despite a number of panning reviews This was during the wave of late 90s-early 2000s kids productions The cast here comprises of rising star Hilary Duff pre-Lizzie McGuire on the Disney Channel, Shelley Duvall, Teri Garr, George Hamilton, and the return of Cathy Moriarty The film is such a lot of fun to watch; There’s the budgeted effects which you’d expect, some funny humor, an adorable performance by Duff as this good little witch, and Hamilton is absolutely eating up every scene as this villain The soundtrack is really good too Although the Josh character really could’ve been cut out of this since his arc goes nowhere If you don’t think about the continuity with the original movies then the kids should have a good time with this one Harmless lighthearted fun for the whole family I gotta say Hilary Duff even got nominated for a Young Artist Award so that’s an accomplishment

Casper The Friendly Ghost, and Wendy The Good Little Witch are the 2 little bravery heroic ghouls. Casper tries his best to save Wendy, but the Ghostly Trio (Casper's Uncles) and the 3 sisters of Witches (Wendy's Aunts) are just been teaming up together to save both of them already as long is their safe. The evil warlock Desmond Spellman has been defeated and he's gone forever. So now, Wendy is the greatest witch, and she will befriended for Casper.
