2017 Ford Feista The car has started having a proble when we drive it, it feels.lile the brakes are coming on by themselves and it gets so bad the car will stop. Its strange because it wants to move but get. I did notice a hill assist coming on the screen. If i let the car set for about an hour it then works but will do it again a couple hours or a day later. I would hreatly appreciate the help

Anything good happen?? I just saw this on my dash an hour ago. The steering is hard and the messages on the dash are not there. It’s scary.

@tigeabenton2174 This vehicle is killing me. Changed the timing belt a little over two months ago and thought it jumped timing about three weeks ago. I took everthing apart and had the head and valves checked and they along with the pistons and piston walls were good. Got everything back together and it almost/may have even started for 2 or 3 seconds. I know I have the timing 100% correct because both cam tools fit perfect along with I had the crank up against the pin and there was no slack in the belt. Now it turns over but won't start alongbwithbthe starter doesn't turn completely off when I turn the key back along with it seems like a lot of clicking going on. I replaced the starter while I had it all apart along with replaced the battery. Sorry for the long book but what made me replace the timing belt was because the car started acting up after about an hour of driving, brakes seemed to be applying themselves eventually bringing the car to a stop, would go forward or backwards. It wanted to go just seemed like I was standing on the brakes. If I went back an hour later it was fine but would happen again about and hour down the road.
