Thats right, he was dirving just in the demonstration class without any time, and the Car is a Circuit Car with Circuit tyres they need a couple of kilometers to get temperature in. Its not to compare with the very soft special hillclimb tyres.
damn somethin bout a quad cammed v8, and a straight cut gear box lmao.......so tasty the dream. Sounds sooo correct straight piped.....all you usually hear is the transmission with normal exhaust manifolds
This thing is just nasty sounding. Probably the loudest Z4 I've heard and your average GT3 is already breaking eardrums. This one must be absolutely deafening.
What is the metal box in Front of the engine you See in the Ende of the Video where they show the open engine bay? Die the team supercharge it? Because normally the GT 3 was a NA car i think?
Lovely sound ! One question : what make this "metallic" sound we can hear in background ? I mean "behind" the loud sound. Is it the transmission ? Why is it different from normal cars ? Thanks :)
It's different because straight cut gears in the transmission have a stronger axial load than helical, which are quieter. The reverse gear in your car is straight cut though, which is why it whines when you reverse fast.
A GT3 car is not built for Hillclimb tracks. A small hot hatch is lighter and performs better in slow corners. GT3's have much aero downforce but you need to have mechanical grip and a lightweight car at slower tracks. A built small hot hatch could be faster at hillclimb tracks.

@@95racing54 Similar to the GTS engine but not exactly the same. GTS designation is S65B44 this is P65. P65 has flat plane crank and dry sump. Different internals as well.
