Breaks my heart that #96 died because police didn't do a thing. It still brings tears to my eyes.

I may be dumb. But I'm kinda confused on what actually happened? Like I know that people were getting crushed, but why and how?

Dragonborn basically, the police were irresponsible and decided to open a bunch of gates at once and poorly monitored the flow. Everyone rushed to the best seats (center seats) and literally people got the air crushed out of them, or they were toppled over and their skulls were crushed.
