My grandpa fought Espana and won in 1978 in maddison square garden. So I guess thats cool, but theres no info on him except one page lol. He still boxes good he played with me and my aunt. Very fun times. :)

You must be referring to someone else because Espana never fought in Madison square garden. Nor did he lose in 78

@@Duel1982 actually now that i look it says Hiram Bithorn Stadium, San Juan but idk my grandpa’s name is Bienvenido quinto theres like no info on him except one boxrec page so i just am taking what he’s said so stuff may be wrong lol

Espana was a decent champion but was never the same after the first Kenty fight. Because he was a favorite son of the WBA, Espana got THREE chances to regain his title despite not beating anyone of note in the interim. He lost here, then to Art Frias and finally to Ray Mancini in quick succession.
