This is what an enthusiast is. We don't have such many channels or at least they don't reach a wider audience. People go crazy behind Verma brothers like they are moving mountains but they have zero knowledge of biking and internal components. Keep it up brother.
I'm sure there will be many great mechs in Hyderabad. You just need to get in touch with few true bikers and you'll get to know. Powerdrift had done a custom build series with guys from Hyderabad. Maybe contact them. Or there is a guy called Vikas Rachamalla (he was quite big on youtube few years ago) who can help find good mechs in Hyd
Those tyres you held up are useless unless you're off road-they wear out too fast if you're doing a mixture of riding because there's no support for the knobs. I can ride my Meteor 350 off road with standard road tyres so a dual purpose trail type tyre would be a massive improvement for most off road riding. The weight problem is they've made the bike longer-wider & taller than the old model. The other problem is they persist in using steel swing arms in 2024. Steel tank again same problem. Their were 2 issues for most people with the old Himalayan-bit more power & less weight as 200 kg wet for a lite middleweight was too much. Needed to be between 179-190kg. They've traded torque for HP but the gearing needs to drop down 1 tooth at the front as the bike now lacks low down pull because the gearing is too tall. They still have a weight problem as they've only lost 4 kg. They need to make some adjustments to get the weight down. You've got the Triumph Scrambler 400X at 179 kg wet. Ktm 390 adventure 177 kg. They have a bit of a problem.
Great video. For my Himalayan 411, I changed the Ceat for Moto Reisse Tour R and did 7000km through Rajasthan & Gujarat incl Thar & Rann. Excellent, except for the sand where I got stuck ! My Q..will Torq R work without chains in snow & slush for a winter ride i am planning in J&K incl Ladakh ?
Well done.Local made Honda CRF rally😂..But too much lightweight is dangerous too..Depanding on the capacity of the engine..What about the gear ratio for that kind of trails....🙄
Great video ! Please can you tell me where you bought the rally seat ? The only place I can find is out of stock and also it says the rally seat won’t fit with standard work ? Look forward to hearing from you !
I was wondering if the rear 3inch 17 rim of Himalayan 450 would fit as the rear rim for Interceptor. Pretty sure it can fit in the Considering you have both the Himalayan and the Interceptor, this could be a good check
I was planning to wait till the tubeless spoke wheel are available (and hoping that they would offer it as a Build Your Own facility). But now I think I'll go for the Himmy as I missed Zanskar in '23 and waiting any longer to do it would be futile. And I can use the excel rims from this and put it on my Xpulse (front) and make that a proper trail bike.
So this king of Bike comes under ADV category do the weight on the Unsprung can be manageable so the 8 kg weight would help you give you an advantage in some point in Off roading
Hello...i have booked the classic 350(mind says classic because of service centre is nearby) but i really like the Highness(heart says highness)...only issue is that the nearest showroom is 115kms away...I can go for service twice a year..thats not a big issue ...but WOBBLING ISSUES in highness and the way HONDA IS TACKLING THE WOBBLING and Battery issues etc(that may occur as its a machine) is keeping me from following my heart(Highness) . What should i do ? Also how has your service cost been like? I've seen various videos where 16k kms service was 8k inr...how has your service experience been?
Dry weight 164kg is also impressive, as no one rides off-road with full tank . So its massive reduction. Other modifications that will make this bike near perfect unicorn - 1. Adjustable suspension. If 30mm more travel then cherry on cake 2. Bigger rear sprocket for better acceleration. All the best sir .❤❤❤
Hi Abhinav, I have a question about your Rally conversion. The seat looks like a RE Rally, but the fender is (luckily) not the Rally fender... Is that the standard one and do they fit together? Greetings from Germany!
@@abhinavbhatt thank you! This looks much better than the accessories fender from RE and I can imagine that the Rally seat is better suited for taller people due to its height.
Excellent report. Be nice to hear exactly what you removed to cut the weight. I like the Himmy but the power to weight ratio bothers me. You are making a good product better and I compliment you.
Great Vlog. Ultimate thinking. Himalayan mostly agreed upon the missing of low end torque thus making it tough for city commute. At 168kgs that too sorted out. ❤
I believe you took out some sort of guard or somthing to lose weight but you had to install it again for the safety of your motorcycle if I am not wrong.
Hello sir did you convert tubeless rims using sealent in the golden rims?? For off road purpose? If the rims bend does the air leak? In the tubeless conversation?
Bhai aap ko triumph scrm 400 or Himalayan 450 me se ladakh jaisa ya highway touring ke liye ek stable or smooth ke sath comfortable bike choose karna ho to aap kon sa choose karoge? Axtually i am asking to influence my choice.
