It is confirmed that both the affected bikes were fitted with after market crash gaurds. These modern bikes have the engine as stress member and part of chasis...so need to be very careful when you loose the bolts or tighten them to connect the gaurd ... People should use torque wrench and tighten to spec...if you keep the main bolts which connect the chassis to engine loose , weight will be on mid section and hence break...there are thousands of units...and two bikes are failed...you anyways won't buy the bike ...but you are that fox who won't eat the grapes coz they are sour.

@@goa.experience Grapes have been sour for quite sometime, literally. Remember the old Himalayan with square tubing? No decent manufacturer in the entire world uses square tubing! And now it's something else. What about cone set issues on many RE models? On the contrary, how many cases of ADV 390 chassis breaking?

Yes, the chassis broke. It shouldn't have happened and it was unfortunate but what's really good is that the company responded and replaced it irrespective of the claims they made about the crash guards. I do support the direction RE is going for as a company and this response is a positive indication.

​@@goa.experience if a global brand's chasis breaks due to simple after market stuff which doesn't involve cutting the chasis, and you can excuse that, in 2024, then you're on a whole another level of being a delusional simp to a brand. This is beyond unexpected. Even an rc 390 chasis wouldn't break if taken off road. And here is an "adv" splitting in two ON THE ROAD. And people okay with that. And no, the black himalayan that broke and the engine fell out, that didn't have any after market leg guard. Literally screws were missing which keep the engine as the stressed member of the chasis, and somehow that bike passed all the checks and made it to the dealership, passed the checks at the dealership and made it to the road. Typical RE. Had it been a KTM or a Honda splitting people would be crying "boycott them!!!!" And what not, but since it's re, well that's okay even if the bike Literally splits. The guy could have died on road had he been doing speeds, thankfully he was just poodling around. I didn't read your comment past "aftermarket" because that was a HILARIOUSLY ludicrous excuse to be made for a bike splitting in two in this day and age.

Oh, I did not know that. But the other issues persist. It is not as fast as a phone and the phone drains quickly being kept in the pocket. I am not completely dismissing the in built nav, but it is not my first choice when the option to mount a phone is available.

Chassis shouldn't snap, but I'd like to wait and see what Royal Enfield has to say about it.

RE has responded. That guy had a bandios pitstop crash gaurd installed on his bike which is not RE approved. On top of it, as per what I have heard, when the crash gaurd installation was carried out, the main bolt that holds the engine and chassis together wasn't install. This left the engine hanging and that guy continued riding it which led to engine falling off. While I'm not against aftermarket crash gaurds, with this engine being the stressed member of the chassis, the owner's must be extra cautious. This is a case of pure negligence from the owners end. And that why this dude is trying to get all those videos down. RE can even refuse warranty in this case but I guess they are still replacing it under warranty.

frame broke due to aftermarket crashbars that has been installed incorrectly, with missing bolts when installed , it's an Indian brand crashbars and they have announced that people should take it off and install the OEM from RE instead , so it's a user fault NOT royal Enfield fault

Bro Jo bike Tuti hai...uska engine mount missing tha...or wo engine mount aftermarket crash gaurd install krwate time lagana bhool gya tha may be...that is the reason the engine fell off.. not the bikes fault. Owners fault....that is why the owner is now trying to get the news down because he is facing warranty issues... company warranty claim Dene se mna bhi kr skti hai kyuki owner ki galti hai poori...or bike reputation ki down hui hai iss wajah se

Jab engine stressed member ho chassis ka to owner ko dhyaan rakhna chahiye k kya lga rha hai...or ye hanle black wale Bande ka to case hi alag h...isne bolt hi nhi lagaya...chassis to tootega hi Aftermarket modification bhi dekh kr krwana chahiye or bike k hisaab se krwana chahiye...

It shouldn't take more than a thousand km for you to be one with the bike. It may seem intimidating at first.

Please don't buy brother there have been 2 incident where chasis have broken

@@roshan9828 first batch issue, I reviewed all the forums and what the problem is, apparently its the first one and they "claim" that 3 bikes have had their chassis broken, but jaha tak I can process it is a bolt loosening issue due to adding a crash guard protection, will clarify on this after I get more information but info is very vague abhi.

@@roshan9828 it is generally recommended to NEVER buy the first prototype of any new bike that has come out. The last version of the bike is the best version because different updates are needed to make a new machine be better to the environment.

Thank you for these kind words. I guess in every aspect of life, one keeps evolving, and currently in my biking journey, off-roading and touring is what I enjoy most. I'll try to ride other bikes too though and hopefully make videos on them. Cheers

450 is a goat but sometimes and only goat that breaks the frame.. RE's has to go long way to tackle center of gravity.. There is always a tension point waiting for breakdown. Also they made a south to north endurance to test the motor cycle and significant issues were not high lighted by the rider's is a big mistake.. May be they switched riders after certain kms so they cannot experience it or may be the closed eyes towards the cons.. Reviewers mostly give all +ve like its from heaven. Owner's get to face the reality in few days.
