@@damianworek4444 Matsuri met up with both Fubuki and Luna, so it was a group of three. Matsuri kissed them both right on encounter that day, Fubuki and Luna reported so on their twitter.
The "Tsuki ga kirei" was referenced from a certain famous anecdote and most natives are familiar with it. But should you try saying this to them, they'll probably take it in its literal sense...that you actually think the moon is pretty. Basically it's not an actual phrase if you want to say "I love you". Its use is typically confined within fictional works only like novels, theatrical plays, and the like. tldr: sorta yes, but that's not what Luna was saying. She probably just said it to set a romantic mood for fun, and also because the moon actually looked pretty there lol.
@@damester13 The exact phrasing she used was 100% a reference to that though. Sure she said it playfully, but the meaning wasn't lost on Matsuri or the viewers.
When the novelist Souseki Natsume (1867-1916) was an English teacher, one of his students translated the English phrase “I love you” as 我君を愛す | ware kimi o aisu. Soseki pointed out that Japanese people don’t say 愛す | aisu (to love), and that the best translation would actually be 月が綺麗ですね | tsuki ga kirei desune (the moon is beautiful, isn’t is?). At the time, Japanese people were more reserved than they are at present day. They hesitated to express feelings of love directly. I, for one, like this expression 月が綺麗ですね | tsuki ga kirei desune (the moon is beautiful, isn’t is?) -- it sounds literary and intelligent. You can use this phrase with someone you like, while you’re under the moon. An appropriately literary response to this would be 死んでもいいわ | shindemo iiwa (I can die happy). This is the translated from the works of novelist Shimei Futabatei (1864-1909). www.italki.com/article/909/Confessing-Your-Love-In-Japanese?hl=en-us click this to know more about Confessing your love in Japanese
@@yoursonisold8743 it was indeed a reference to it, but she clearly did that to set a mood between two supposed lovers moon-gazing, not to specifically say "i love you". That's important to point out to avoid making people think "tsuki ga kirei" means "I love you" when it's referenced nowadays.
This just nails it, Luna-tsuri is really a thing, back then, Luna admitted that if she became a he, Luna would pick Matsuri out of all the Homolivers. I dunno, baby princess is too cute to resist nanora~
Hah, she also said even as a woman she likes her. No male transformation required. Also the offical name (literally the name of their hashtag) is Festivaluna.
@@yoursonisold8743 it really seems like they are dating irl the emotions matsuri shows to luna are really interesting and unlike what she shows for other holos
@@aamon6393 While I agree that their dynamic is unique (Matsuri isnt typically the one being pursued), I'd not make extreme jumps like saying they are dating, though. It's all fun and harmless... for now.
This is one of my favorite things. When Matsuri teases Luna too much she drops the honorific and just says "Matsuri". It's one the more subtle ways she breaks character around her.
I like how Matsuri like to lewd or tease everyone except Luna... She's the only that able to tease Matsuri and Matsuri can't do nothing I know how Marine feels, now I get it why Marine wanna punch Luna xD
At first I had the need to punch Luna too. After watching lots of her streams, especially the piano ones, I want to hug Luna so hard that she would explode.
It's fun seeing these two together while teasing each other and all, and it's even more fun to see people having the time of their lives watching them. It's just two close friends brought together by a certain incident (Matsuri getting close to Luna at her early Hololive days) and it's fun watching their familial relationship. I've said it a million times before, and I'll say it again: Matsuri really is the ideal onee-san figure. Although a little bit wacky and crazy, it's no surprise that Luna found herself comfortable with Matsuri, enough to even tease her like how straight people who are close friends pretend to be gay for each other.
Jeez... there is a lot of internalized heteronormativity and denial in that mess of a post. You wanna talk about it? Did a bro kiss you goodnight one too many times without saying "no homo"?
Himemori Luna: Young Babby Princess who hides Regal Elegance. Gibara: Was an Innocent Peasant Girl who was deep down just a Raging Degenerate. True or False?
Luna tries her best to keep her character. I bet her normal voice must be really ara ara intensifies. That's why 40yo pirate wants to punch her in the face lol
Does Matsuri have any right to act embarrassed about a Minecraft kiss after she kissed Luna irl? Who knows, but this entire stream was just one big teasing match between the two and I loved every second of it~
@@damianworek4444 This Minecraft stream happened _after_ the Haachama collab. It literally was just yesterday... Matsuri kissed Luna on the lips irl several weeks ago after a Yakiniku date between her, Luna and Fubuki. They talk about it in this stream as well.
Not the fist time that Matsuri rejects Luna’s advances I think they know each other longer than we know and she just likes her as a friend it looks like that in all the other colabs I’ve seen them together probably she knows Luna even before she came to Hololive
I think I know why Matsuri doesn't attack Luna: there's no point to attack what has already been conquered. Which means Luna can focus on hololive's glass canon with out fearing her high attack and abusing her low defense.
optifine + sildur's vibrant shaders, not textures. unfortunately, there are no updates to 1.16 just yet so you'll have to play on 1.15.2 as of this post
luna: you kissed me matsuri: no i didn't luna: then I will ask the chat chat: it is as you say Luna-hime luna: HORA! What do you say to that?! matsuri: locks door behind them*.......... luna:................ matsuri:.........looks like I can't let you out of here luna:.....ara-ra-nanora....^^;;;; my 0 year old virginity is in danger
