Backstreet Boys is one of the greatest boy bands of all time and known as the most successful boy band to date. And they're basically the real deal as they're even respected in the metal and rock community.

I remember the day this album came out, my sister and I caught the bus to the mall to go to FYE and they were sold out. I never cried so hard in life. My 12 year old heart was shattered. But my mom drove literally 30 miles after work to get a copy for each of us.. mom for the win tho 🏆

I want to say my mom pre-ordered it for me at Hastings. She was in college at the time and working 3 part time jobs and still bought me the CDs I wanted. Bless all our moms! (Dad bought me Millennium and both self-titled BSB & N*SYNC albums so Dad ftw, too 🤣)

Boy bands were a dime a dozen in the late 90s early 2000s, but BSB were without a doubt the most talented and best vocalists. They are still making great music so that kind of speaks for itself.

I know boy bands always get a bad rap, but the Backstreet Boys weren't just a boy band they were the boy band the group that defined a genre the fact that they're still together and still making music is Testament to that and unlike NSYNC every member of the Backstreet Boys the major contributor to almost every song

Yeah this song was the first single off of their fourth album right after Millennium. This was from their Black & Blue album released in 2000. Nick Carter did a solo album in 2002 and if you're interested, you might want to check out one of his pop rock sounding songs " _Do I Have to Cry for You?_ " It's got some Bryan Adams sound to it. 👍

Billy, I like your videos. Been a BSB fan for a long time. I'm 32 years old now and still love these boys. I seen this and was excited, this is one of my favorites. Drowning is up there too. But you really should do The Call, like others are saying. The video is great and the song as well. Love your react videos, keep them coming. Also this song released in 2000 or 2001. Nick Carter actually made a mistake on that album. His voice can not handle rock music well at that time. However it was his dream.So it was good. Just a little bit pity he lose that battle so easily.By the way,it was his choice so it’s good. Only lots of fans believe he could do better .

Hey Billy... "Shape Of My Heart" was written and released by The Backstreet Boys in 1993... given that... it must have just been added to someone in RU-vid's play list as a favorite of their playlist for 1998 . That is the only thing I think of that would be why it shows up that way. I enjoyed your reaction here very much. Thank you for your channel.

They are holders of the following Guinness World Records: 1st to achieve 7 consecutive number-one singles in the UK, most public appearances in 36 hours by a pop group, most singles to debut at number one on the UK chart & top selling album group in the UK in the 21st century. Their latest nr 1 hit, Hello my love, was in 2019 with a song (one of 4) written specifically for them by Ed Sheeran, who is a huge fan of theirs.
