2022. Just found them this year. Subscribed after hearing one song. I always liked folk music, but I thought that no one did it after late 80's. Found it looking for Jewish music. So much fun listening to this. Like the bible references too.
"Nefesh Mountain" has it all over that Debbie Friedman lady (was that her name?) "Oh see how good and pleasant (wonderful) for brothers to sit together".
Debbie was a product of a different time so the comparison is kind of unnecessary. Debbie was one of the great pioneers of modern interpretations of Reform liturgical music. Sad she couldn’t have lived a longer life. She’s close to me in age and left us far too soon. May her memory be for a blessing.
