Give my husband and my dad a round of applause for joining me for this "manly" hip circles workout! No dads were harmed while making this video! 😂 Loosen up your hips and lower back with hip circles, then CHALLENGE your strength and control by applying hip circles to squats, lunges, and a plank. Stop or modify if anything feels uncomfortable for your lower back or for your particular core/pelvic floor needs. NOTE: You might feel some muscle soreness the next day after moving your body in new ways. Gentle movements and stretches will help! Try this 25-min low back, hips, and pelvic floor stretch routine: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3_4XTc8Gduw.html
This was not only helpful, it is fun, and so precious that you have your Dad and husband on board with doing this for your channel. Thank you so much! 😊🤗
This was great! Your dad and hubby must really love you to do this on camera! Well done guys! Thank you for doing this, it was helpful for us women too
Thank you for another fabulous video. Loved the challenge and love the fact both your dad and husband were up for being in this video. Absolutely awesome!
I agree!!! The next time we visit my parents, I'll be sure to have him join me for another video. I'm sure he'd be up for "stretches for stiff backs," which so many people could use! There would be lots of laughter from him (as always)
Yay!!! Thanks for watching! We had fun making this video :) The next several weeks of upcoming videos are focused on female-specific issues, so always remember that I have playlists for men if you find that future videos don't pertain to you. Enjoy!
We had so much fun filming this! And I love that my dad is more of the "every man" regarding hip and back mobility. Hip circles are tough for a lot of people!!! I'm hoping he inspires others to try something new :)
Bri, is this equally useful for women as well or is it better for men? I’d like to try this myself and definitely want my husband to try this. It could really help his lower back.
It's great for both women and men! Anyone can benefit! CAUTION: Stop or modify if anything feels uncomfortable for your lower back or your particular core/pelvic floor needs. For women -- If you have prolapse, pay attention to pressure management! Breathe steadily throughout the exercises, particularly the squats and the plank. Consider doing the plank circles from your KNEES (as shown at the end of the video), at least at first.
I experienced a "pop" from my pelvic floor when squeezing my knees together as I was stretching and rolling over... it was big and loud. It scared me but didn't hurt. Is that normal? Thank you for all your helpful work and videos.
I'm glad it didn't hurt! The "pop" isn't typical, and it's certainly not typical for the pelvic floor muscles, but it could have been something else in the pelvic area (such as one of the pelvic joints popping - i.e. pubic symphysis or sacroiliac joints). Take care of yourself and listen to your body, talk to you doc if you think you need to have something looked at. And next time you do the workout, take everything a little slower and more gently. Best wishes!
If you've fully healed (post-op) you could try the gentle movements at the beginning of this video and see how it feels in your body. Make the movements VERY small, and take them slowly. Avoid the hip circles + squats, lunges, and planks that I show at the end of the video. With lumbar fusion, you'll need to avoid any activity that puts extreme stresses on the spine. But again, you can try the first few movements shown in this video and see how it feels for you. Talk to your doctor for recommendations that are specific to your needs and your surgical procedure.

You might benefit from this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JGns5R_29KI.html -- even if you don't have prolapse, the information and exercises in this instructional video should be helpful for you!
Good morning Doctor.. if i squeeze my pelvic muscle and do intercourse i am getting delay in ejaculation...can i continue that.. or squeezing pelvic while intercourse is any harmful for health ?
It depends on the person! If you're squeezing every time you have intercourse, it may create excessive tension in your pelvic muscles which can be problematic in the long-run. But if you're just squeezing occasionally, and if it's not causing any problems, then you're probably fine.
