The first time I saw Sevendust the crowd pushed into the mosh pit so hard my feet came almost 2 feet off the ground because of the collision. To put that in perspective, I am 6 foot 7 275 pounds and I was completely helpless, absolute riot!!!

This music was my era growing up in middle school and highschool.. this shit is so iconic . Breakdowns, growls , synth and piano, all mashed together will always bring me back to highschool especially . I went to so many crazy fuckin shows . Broke my orbital bone , broke my nose , and twisted my ankle like 50 times going into pits . Such a fun time in my life. This kind of music has definitely gone out of popularity but I’ll always love it . I’ll never forget first hearing this band either .. shit blew my fuckin mind

I just found you through this video AA has been my favorite bands for over 10 years and I really I appreciate the respect you give them as musicians I’ve seen them live 6 different times and have met them 3 times I remember the second time I had ever seen them was in 2013 was also my first time meeting them they were all so amazing but more over to the point I had managed to lose my spot in the front and fallen in the pit (i’m a 5’3 female mind you and was around 14 at the time) and I couldn’t handle myself or get out and ended up falling to ground and the I guess one of the members saw what had happened because next thing I now the music stopped and Danny (lead singer) was yelling for security to help me out and make sure I was alright i had a few bumps but I was fine overall just scared lmao but I appreciate the care these guys have for the fans and even the moshers are very careful and help you the whole atmosphere at a metal show is very loving and over all a good community of people

I was there at that concert, that was the small stage they played on. The main stage was on the other side of the venue that Pappa Roach, Five Finger Death Punch & Limp Bizkit played on. AA did play the Hell outta there set tho!!!!

The first mosh pit I was in was during a Beartooth set. Got knocked down on my hands and knees 5 seconds into the first song. People immediately surrounded me, picked me up, and made sure I was okay. Just goes to show how cool the metal community is. I moshed hard and crowd surfed 8 times that night. Now I like to go and pick people up in the pit. I know I'm a little late on this but my first mosh pit was at the Vans Warped Tour 2010 and I was so hype to see a metal band play that I ran to the first stage my eyes could see. Then my best friend Tyler and I we at the edge of what I learned was a mosh pit and he kept egging me to go in and after the 3rd time he just pushed me in and a new side of me I never knew existed came raging out. I saw these guys back when I was 16 when they came to Montreal for the first time, after having put out their first album. It was one long mosh pit and the show they put on was insaaaaaane. They were super tight and clean and it's one of the best shows I've ever seen.

When I was in school and probably because where I live bands like mastodon, five finger death punch, trivium, and slipknot were considered metal and bands like BMTH, Asking Alexandria, crown the empire were considered scremo. not that I'm hating because I like all music, just interesting how things change.

I FINALLY saw Asking Alexandria this year at Warped and they did not do a single one of their old songs. I was so fucking disappointed but they killed it regardless, I loved when they finished up with "someone, somewhere" and he certainly has shown his growth as a vocalist. We had a pretty dope wall of death going on in Scranton when these guys played, mosh pits opening up all over the place and I couldn't be more satisfied in ending 5 years of hitting up Warped Tour. I actually got pretty emotional when it all ended, I didn't want to believe that it was over because so many of My favorite bands have always played Warped Tour.

My mosh pit story - while she sleeps at Reading festival last year. They played the intro to "this is the six" (pls react to this, another British metalcore band you might like), and just within that 10 second intro I had gone from the left side of the stage all the way to the right. A mosh pit is a great way to get from A to B. I timed my entry so well that I was able to evade every push and shove around me in the mosh pit and went from 20 rows back to second row. So worth it.

I was at a show one time slam dancing and the lead singer of spite said "find someone and take them the f*** out". At a chelsea grin show o saw 2 people get knocked out cold. And slughter to prevail still holds the scariest pit ive ever been in and seen to their song called hell.
