So if laptop has a bad memory module, how does this help me diagnose it and point to the correct chip ? It wont. Of there is a problem with data lines on PCIE, how does this CD help ? It wont. So honestly i am not sure how this helps other then allowing you to format your drive and hack into passwords. Otherwise its a pretty useless utility that requires 100% working hardware to work.
I had my internship at a PC repair shop where we used a very good win10 based version of Hiren's. Since then I've been unable to find that version, my only options are version 15.2 or the latest PE one that's very stripped of tools. SOMEONE, do you know a win10 based Hiren's version that's GOOD?
Hiren is changing all the time, and so are the licenses for the tools included. I might do an updated version review but unfortunately Hiren is a nice PE environment with tools pre-installed, yet licenses are not included bc offering this for free would technically means piracy, unless the Hiren makers are software philanthropists. 😁
I was able to boot from the USB however the desktop screen resolution comes up very high making it a bit hard for my older-eyes to see, it's like 3840x whatever ... anyway how can I make it like 1920x1080.

You should also try Windows 7 Live, a tiny 50Mb ISO file. It has a lot less tools than Hiren's but honestly does a lot of what you'd want to do such as disk formatting, partitioning, password reset, etc.

Hello ! I was trying to repair bad sectors on my disk. ¿What happens if I find more than 6 thousand sectors in red and do not repair anything in blue? 2 days have passed and I barely advance a centimeter more or less I say it like this because there is no percentage .. Whats the best Hirens version for Win 7? 🤔 Want to create a bootable USB using Rufus 3.1 & Hiren to reset or clear a password on an older (about 10 yrs old) gateway laptop - intel i5 & win 7 - as a neighbor gave it to me when they were moving out. Laptop runs great, screen is still sharp, etc. Thank you 🤓 will be using a win 8/8.1 laptop to create the bootable usb. Thanks
I know this is a late reply but from what I gather all versions of Hiren's will work with Windows 7... or you could just forget about trying to bypass the password and fresh install Windows 7 which will wipe everything anyway.
@@j.lietka9406 I've never tried it but I think it'll just remove the password. It shouldn't remove the username otherwise it would mess with the account and user data.
@@FlyboyHelosim i have 2 PCs to use hirens on: 1 is a gateway laptop (10 yrs old, i5, win 7 but sharp screen), the other is a Lenovo mini-pc with win 7. The g/way has the p/word to be reset, but the lenovo has both username & passwords. I contacted lenovo & they arent sure if the mini-pc has a reset/recover/restore feature. Thanks 🤓 if any data is lost, i am not worried, as both were thrown away PCs, & I just happened to find them!
what do use if I want to check if my wifi card or audio card are not working properly? I asked this cause my wifi disconnect randomly and then after doesnt even show up the drivers, also sometimes I get BSOD, both happening when watching vids on youtube ussually, I ran the memtest86 cause I thought it is something with RAM but it didnt find any errors
I would swap them out and see if that can fix it, Other than that I don't have many other ideas. Take this with a grain of salt though because I'm not to familiar with wifi/audio cards. Maybe a program you can use.
@@Data.I agree with you in Swapping the Rams , sometimes the Rams cause Black Screen, but with BSOD try changing the CMOS battery "motherboard battery"
I wonder how you recommended it at all where all the tools are locked and you have to run them from win10PE. how can they assist you on ill system you are checking?
Not all the tools are locked, the paid ones only. You have to buy the licenses for the software you use, them you can enter the keys and use them within the live CD. If all the tools installed would be unlocked, that would be piracy. There are plenty of free tools that helped me out in the past, plus a nice GUI is a lot easier than using a Win10 install CD command line to fix your PC.
@@Herbertech I'm sorry, I try to be clearer. All the tools are installed and in the wim file so they can run only if one boot to it hence win10pe. If so how you can check a different system registry? search keys? drivers?
