This is 20-minutes of free information. I am not here to sell you anything. The goal is to share information I've learned from speaking to so many small business clients who do business with my company. I do not have books, courses or seminars.

You are 100% correct. A business needs to be able to "afford" that employee before they hire them. Too many small business owners are shocked by how much their profits drop once they hire that employee. A good practice is making sure the hourly wage is part of your COGS or expenses before you hire (depending on the business). This way your margins already account for this future employee. - Tammy

I’d also like to add, learning how to charge more for your service by adding value for your clients and avoid time or hourly rate base type of work! Know what your service is worth and add value for your clients then you can charge very high prices

When it comes to benefits for our employees, I know you specialize in life insurance but do you also have insight on business insurance also, even just basic coverage so Mom & Pop businesses can be competitive to the likes of franchises & other establishments that offer those perks?

So quick question let's say you have a 2 member llc would those 2 members count as employees of the llc? I ask because when registering your business it asks how many employees you have I wasn't quite sure how to answer that also so I don't have to hire the 2 members with a W2 if I use owners draw?

if my business if not bringing in consistent income but is bringing in around 5k some months or even 3k is it a good idea to hire a casual worker to come in and help out on occasions? as I run my business from home as well as looking after my new born daughter, I have had great success working for myself but handling invoices shipping and labour alone is a lot of work so I am trying to pan off labour build-up to a casual employee if possible I would love to hear your thoughts, thanks.

Agreed I have to market,advertise, hire,contract, keep clients,billing, dispatching,taxes,run the company. I'm under funded as a minority. I have tried to get funding from the bank. They wanted to know if I was on Dun and Bradstreet. I couldn't believe this was happening. Agreed I have 2 employees. I had 9 ppl before covid. I been in business for 5 years. I appreciate my employees. My Revs are 10,000 plus a month. Even at that it's a struggle for employees. So thanks for the video.

Once you brought up the phantom racism against you, you lost me. No one is out to get you because you’re black. That is illegal and anyone who denies you services because you’re black is breaking the law. You would be able to take them to court and sue them. I think that you believe they are discriminating against you, but don’t actually have proof of it. You then jump to the conclusion that it is just because you’re black because that is the narrative that has been forced on you. I enjoyed your videos but you lost me with the victim narrative. Get over yourself, you’re not oppressed. Victim hood is a weak man’s way of denying success. I thought you were smarter than that. I only take advice from confident, strong individuals. I’m moving on.
