My late uncle used to work for HRH late father. He told me he was hired when he managed to fix the late Sultans favourite Bentley. When he later retired from service, he was called back to work by HSH. He has nothing but full of praise for the Royal family for their kindness. May Allah Bless HRH The Sultan & his family...
I know very litlle about Brunei. People here speak about him with respect and consideration. That's great! The way he handles the airplane, tells me that he is a real pilot. Respect for the leader and for the man. Being a pilot only makes him even better! Respect and Greetings from Brazil.
@@sabiantheomnivore5592 If the same kind of punishment was applied in the USA, for instance, they might not have sad events like the one they just had. I mean the one where the guy killed his grandmother and several children... If a family of good and fair people rules a particular Country, I believe that is a blessing. Only the people of that particular Country are entitled to say if their Leader is good or not, for them and for their culture. We are supposed to respect that. Sometimes we see a different kind of "family", rulling a Country, in a "democratic" way and the result is REAL TIRANY. I guarantee you about that!
His father sent him to Britain years ago where he first trained to fly. He can fly his 747 and any other plane he and his brother own. I have some great video of him flying his 747 and A310.
Assalmualeykum from UK. Long Live his majesty the Sultan Of Brunei. May Allah SWT bless the ruler of Brunei, his majesty the Sultan Of Brunei, May Allah SWT bless the people of Brunei and the land of Brunei, Ameen.
My father was Capt with HM The Sultans Flight / the private operation for 3 years in the late 1980s early 1990s. I had the privilege to see the operation up close as a youngster and even had a few maintenance test flights. Not in Brunei but in the USA. I dont know what the Sultans lisence status is today but back in that time he did not have any flying certificates. He would sit in the cabin while the pilots got the aircraft ready for taxi. Then he would come to the cockpit and take the left seat with lead captain taking right seat + the other qualified pilot as safety pilot in jumpseat. A typical local flight my father did for him would be to depart Brunei fly to KK and a nice visual around the mountain. Then back to Brunei and do 4-5 touch & go's to practice patterns, take off & landings. My father said that he was pretty good at hands on flying. He would not memorize flap & gear sequence and appropriate speeds so he got assistance with that. Since he flew on all types he used to have a problem when to flare. One day B747 and next day a Gulfstream. Different heights and different visual cues and perception. So he needed to be verbally corrected and then he did fine. Back then his inventory initially was a B727 followed by a beautiful Gulfstream III. Then a Gulfstream IV. Later a A340 and then a brand new B747-400 which was originally delivered to Lufthansa. The B747-400 spent a year in Texas for interior outfitting. Initially flown by Lufthansa B747 pilots but later by Boeing factory pilots. There was also a B757 at that time but I don't remember which of the family operated it. My father was B727, GIII & GIV until end of his contract but last 2 years only GIV. The GIII was transferred to Prince Jefferys son and different crew if I remember correctly. Interesting times!
He fly his planes. Drives his cars. He prefer operate his transportations by himself rather than having a driver🤩 you dont see that often on other famous world leaders
@MUHAMMAD NUR IMRAN ARIFF BIN MOHD KHAIRUDDIN Moe If is talking about Sharia, the Islamic law that is applied by the Talibans, ISIS, the rulers/clerics of Pakistan and Saudistan.

Way to go, Royal Brunei Airlines. You know, here in Australia, a High School in Brisbane, is offering flying lessons, even for hard of hearing students. The sound goes straight from control tower to hearing aid

The sultan should be very proud of this airline and especially its staff. I fly yearly to London from Australia and without hesitation always choose to fly Brunei. The staff are so warm and friendly. In business class from Australia there are less passengers due to the alcohol restriction which I am not affected by. It just means I get extra special attention. My friends don't believe me when I tell them that I actually look forward to flying to London or flying back to Australia from London. Well done Royal Brunei Airlines !
My stamps collection includes 4 Eid Cards that I received by post from Sultan of Brunei HM Sir Sultan Hasanal Bolkiah ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-G7ez_RK4NoU.html
Guys, that is great! He is not just doing it, but he is doing it well and the most important is that he is visibly enjoying it. A great AIRMAN! Believe me, I know what I say....
salute to our king, he can do whatever things that other kings cant do....he is a professional pilot....we are proud of him......long live your majesty....
Royal Brunei Airlines is the best I have ever flown on, and I have been on many airlines. It is my airline of choice to travel from London to Australia. And Brunei is a great place to stop over if you want to see alternative things. The main city is also brilliant. Even though the country is predominantly Muslim, the people there welcome all religions. They even employ Australian and New Zealand pilots at their airline. I got a shock the first time I flew with Royal Brunei, the Captain comes on the PA and he is an Aussie. The first Officer was as well. Flight Attendants very good and when there is time they will sit down and discuss their countries history with those who are interested. They are also interested in other countries as well.Very genuine and warm people.
"His majesty" who no one elected, but he's terrific because he can fly a plane (like millions of other people can). Your mentality is pathetic and it's why no one respects you.

This king takes care of his people and ensures that they live well. Few other leaders can boast similar qualities of this Sultan, who seems to be a be a very professional and capable pilot as well!!!
his majesty is a very nice kind and humble person, i am not even a Brunei citizen but met him once at a summit, you should be very lucky, as not many countries get these type of leaders who care for their people, Brunei is a welfare state which is rare in this type of world.
Alhamdulilah saya ikut bangga, menyaksikan kehebatan Bapak Sultan Bolkiah menjadi pilot pesawat ini,dan saya mendoakan Bapak Sultan sehat selalu diberikan umur yg berkah. Aamiin.
Everything in aircraft handling is somehow done automatically, yet only those skilled in flying the aircraft and have it's background experience deserve to it. Sultan is one of them.
He has no money, he just steals from Brunei's finances. Within ten years independence he's burned his way through half of Brunei's sovereign wealth and in order to support his vanity and profligate lifestyle has sold his own country to mainland China.
Sure!, free education, free health and no income tax!, That's all great and dandy. At what cost? : living under very strict Sharia Law imposed by a sole monarch?,...uhmm!, ....thanks, but no thanks! I prefer to pay taxes and have my freedom to vote and live as I please!
H.Chain. Seriously, You talk that bcause you rich only care the rich only but please do give a "rights of fund" on ordinary/poor beggar citizen's voice concernced over the one who struggling to find shelter's(2016 studies on western-pro System) due to the stressness from paying high cost of trillion dollars of healthcare bills, educational bills n others to governmnt to equalize the gap between the poor and rich otherwise the eyesore for the year 2016 on the street of the Australian citizen live as 104,000 + homeless, UK got 250,000+ homeless, Western the 3rd largest oil producer papa got 1/2 millions homeless. Do not violating the funds or everyone end up sleep at street. Do vote the leadership to help them instead
There u go as the result of the illuminati western_made system over 15,000 homelessness recorded in Denmark,Sweden about 34,000 live as homelessness@beggar, Norway citizen live at street about 6,000 + . All this based on the studies on 2016 data statistic studies as the result of world order's stinginess_ system hitted most EU members harder causes the countries listed as Indebts by International Creditor define the figure data. So tell us now wheres the country's espcially the sweden, Denmark or talk about the western's fund for the poor then?? and i challnge u produce amount of Brunei's citizen live as homeless/ beggar at street. Proves us some #fact...
