JERUSALEM, Israel - During the seven months since the October 7th Hamas massacre and kidnappings, the Israeli perception of the Biden administration's relationship with their nation and especially with their prime minister has, for many, been transformed from warm and welcoming to bewildering and hostile.
That has been more evident since the early weeks of 2024 when the White House made it clear they would prefer to see Benjamin Netanyahu replaced as prime minister. Later they would even summon coalition member and National Unity Party leader Benny Gantz to Washington to conduct business with Israel without consultation from either party with Netanyahu.

Excellent commentary.Thank you. My only point of disagreement is with this concluding statement,from the guest speaker: " I am not sure that Israel will survive..." The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob has made this promise: to preserve Israel and to ultimately defeat all enemies of Israel. Fr God will bless all who bless Israel and will defeat all who cause harm to the nation of Israel. With or without the assistance of the United States, Israel will survive. The fate of the USA for turning against is another sad and tragic issue. As David the Psalmist wrote: My own dearest friend has turned against me...could be said about USA against the nation of Israel no we. Israel WILL survive. USA from this point in time? Not so sure about this...

The Iranians never threaten to withhold weapons from Hamas, Hezbolla, and the Houthis if they don't 'show restraint' when deliberately targeting Israel civilians. Iran doesn't tell its above proxies 'your weapons come with restrictions'. Iran doesn't tell its above proxies to take the well being of Israeli civilians into consideration.

I thought a statement towards the end indicated the true spiritual issue - "faith in the amazing courage of our young soldiers". It is better to take refuge in the Lord, than to trust in humans. Psl 118:8 May all Jews encounter their Messiah who has come and is coming again. The present political state of Israel is not the same as the Israel of God's promise referenced in the Bible, the Book of Romans I believe is particularly relevant.

Genuine question for your subscribers, from the word of God (King James bible): Who raised up Nebuchadnezzar and sent him against Israel, and why. Who delivered Judah into the hands of the Syrians, and allowed the Philistines (Palestinians) to invade the south of Judah, and why? Who told those in Jerusalem to weep for themselves, and that he would leave their house desolate? What does it mean to reject the Gospel?
