What a fun video! I love your dry sense of humor Russ. Thanks for the snowball 😁 Such amazing views! I've missed seeing the pine trees up in Yellowstone. Only smellovision could make it better 😄 Thanks for letting me tag along. This morning I was in Lake Havasu walking my dog at the London Bridge Beach Park on the west side of the channel. Found out dogs aren't allowed in the Rotary Park, but a maintenance worker directed me to the Beach Park. It has a nice walkway to the bridge, covered picnic tables, a dog park and a swimming area. Nice! Safe travels Russ!

I've travelled the road from Prescott Valley over Mingus mountain to Jerome. Camping on Mingus mountain on three occasions, watching the hand gliders take off over Cottonwood vicinity. Jerome is a special place for me, having breakfast in the English Cafe many times. It's still unspoilt, with a great atmosphere. English oldtimer from Shropshire reminiscing again. Flagstaff elevation is 7000ft !

I lived in Reno 20 + years ago. A lady I worked with took a job at the university in Flagstaff. Eight months later she was back. I asked why. She said she couldn’t take the snow and cold. So she came back to ice skate in Reno on the freeways. Wow!

Interesting that they use the material for uses like that. I wonder if they ever find tiny Peridot crystals in it. ? I know that there is a Peridot fossicking area north of Flagstaff in the ancient lava fields.

Sorry to blurt this out, but does this stretch of road - 180 north of Flagstaff - just SCREAM ... SUMMER LTVA ! ? ! ? ! Isn't this the perfect "Quartzite of the Summer?” -- flat, big, 8000ft cool. Isn't this a perfect summer LTVA for the van folks who have to get by on $800 a month? ? ? You're a "big man" in the RV world - as US citizens, surely there's a way the thousands of us can make that happen (maybe with some help from AARP)? Just had to bring it up since you're driving right through it. Best, hg2
