The town of Sardinia, Ohio was established in 1833 and named after a Methodist tune. The town itself was a stronghold for the Underground Railroad and the Temperance Movement. The town even featured a "tavern" where no alcohol was served! This video has several great stories shared by members of the Sardinia Historical Society.
