@@Demonetization_Symbol from what I can read the spotter survived and the dog was found on the spotter seat, so it was probably his dog. Some pictures of Mannock have him with his dog so he may have felt guilt killing someone else pet. Difficult to say as each person react differently but usually people don't feel good about accidentally killing an animal.
