History of Fallout 4 Every Year/Month/Day

Here is my take on a potential history of the map of the Commonwealth from Fallout 4. Due to the lack of information on many early events, the secrecy of the Railroad, etc., I had to make some educated guesses. Otherwise, pretty much the whole map would be blank for a good chunk of the video due to having little to no confirmed locations for factions and groups that existed long before the Sole Survivor leaves Vault 111.
For example, the Battle of Charles River and Mass State are major events from the past but have scarce detail. I then became interested in the idea of first and second generation raiders. The first generation raiders weren't able to make much progress because of the rise in power of Mass State and the Minutemen. Seeing no other alternative, I decided that the Battle of Charles River was a case of the Commonwealth being able to wipe out threats thanks to the relative stability. Additionally, I didn't allow the second generation raiders or the Gunners to show up until the Minutemen began to decline, since that made the most sense to me.
Basically, any time there was scarce information, I would mold it into a storyline that despite being my own fiction, generally works within the established facts.
Lastly, I used the Minutemen as a gauge for how stable the Commonwealth was, the CPG representing the peak of stability. The stronger the Minutemen, the weaker the raiders, and vice versa.

When you look at it, the Gunners and Raiders own a huge part of the map, i which there was actually an impact on the game for clearing their territories or seeing both factions fighting since they cover most of the map. Im also disappointed that Preston didn't ask the Sole Surv to reclaim Quincy, would have been cool to establish a town there.

To be honest, I wish we got a fallout 4 with more cities, it just feels boring with only diamond city and goodneighbor, I wish we got Quincy, non raider libertalia, salem with a population, university point, you know. I know fallout 4 is supposed to be about establishing settlements but those minutemen settlements suck and don't function as cities like diamond city and goodneighbor do.

Great map! I just realized, that there is a truck with a Minutemen label on it by the Charles river in between Greygarden and the water treatment plant. If the Minutemen fought in the battle of Charles river, then that's probably an old supply cash for Minutemen forces during the battle. And thus the battle was probably within the area around Oberland station.

I think the worst part about Fallout 4's world lore is that the Gunners are just a basic Raider Gang and that Raider gangs got like 50% of Fallout 4's map without backstory.... They could have made something like the Great Khans were in NV. Instead they made a silly Gang only to have another antagonist Raider Gang to kill without thinking.... The game didnt even gave me a dialogue or a simple quest after I visited Quincy and killed the guys who are responsible for the Minuteman betrayal (even with Preston). Imagine they added a questline to that stroryline.. it would have made the Minuteman along with the Gunners and Quincy so much more important and the Minuteman would have gotten a soul if there would be an actual questline dedicated to the Story of the Minuteman

@@yonblek4542 I love Fallout 4, but yeah.... Fallout 4 has some problems. And 76 is a mess. I hope they learn from the old games. The tv show seems pretty lore accurate so far (if you ignore the Shady Sands part) So the next Fallout game might be a good one. And it seems like they look back to the lore of older Fallout games with the show in particular. That was a thing they kind of refused to in some way, u know. Bethesda just wanted to do their own thing. Maybe they started to respect Fallout's lore. But I wont hope to much for now....

Awesome work and attention to detail man! Whatever you think of the actual main story of Fallout 4, I think Bethesda did a good job at creating a world with some very interesting history for you to step into. And you did a good job filling in the blanks like showing the Battle of Charles River as the Minutemen and Mass State teaming up to wipe out the raiders

@patekor2064
@patekor2064 8 дней назад
@@Yannis1a No particular reason. 2240 marked a definitive decline in power for the Minutemen, and there's not really anything that indicates when the Gunners rose to power. So I decided on 20 years as being enough time for people in the Commonwealth to view the Gunners as being the force needed to bring order to the wasteland rather than the Minutemen. Without the institute, the minutemen would be able to expand their territory. The super mutants would be soon destroyed and I think most of the raiders would join farms at a point, because being a raider wouldn't stay worth it. The main issue would be gunners, especially in the south/south west. We can imagine two separate countries if minutemen nor BoS don’t beat them

Its canon that the East Coast was hit a whole lot harder than the West Coast was. The East Coast is still a radioactive hellhole even two centuries where as on the west a lot of the damage (at least outside the big cities) was from the passage of time rather than nukes. Farmers on the East Coast are barely able to grow enough crops in the radioactive soil to feed themselves let alone enough to spur the establishment of a nation. (New Vegas and the Mojave area was hit with only a few nukes thanks to House's defense system. So all the damage you see if from the passage of time or from human action in the two centuries since.) (Also remember the NCR took a long while to get to the point we see in New Vegas and the Legion is less than four decades old and is effectively a very large raider gang.)
