I know I missed FIFA 2001. Couldn't find any videos from it. Sorry. Songs taken from Newgrounds.com : 1.Dj-Rippa - Take Control 2.Semaphore - Thunderstruck! 3.ParagonX9 - Chaoz Fantasy 4.DJ-U - Waveforce
To me Fifa 07 and Fifa 13 are the best. But,FIFA 98' changed everything,I was using it till last year. When I bought FIFA 07 I was completely amazed, based on its history, the graphics, the sound, the players,I think FIFA became the role-model for FIFA 08,09,10,11,12 and 13.I still use FIFA 07 today. What an amazing game.So much happened in 18 years.
hey my little 5 year old, times were good back then :) and to you Adrican Paull Varga like conor rynne said in different comment section above: you most likely played the ps1 version of that game, because later they released 96 and 97 for ps1. Cause it was like this on the sega genesis.
The biggest leaps forward seem to be around when new generations of consoles were released. Soon the Xbox 720 and PS4 are coming out. Can't wait to see what fifa will be like on next gen.
Severely out of date now is this video. The game has really moved on so much, but I will say that Euro 2008 looked the most realistic in terms of visuals. Now looking forward to Fifa 2016. Time does fly!
I remember I scored a fantastic goal playing World Cup KoreaJapan 2002. Sebastian Deisler in the centre of the field got a long air pass on his knee and shot while the ball remained in the air.
I wish i could play FIFA 2003 on PS3, it was my first FIFA and I really want to play it again, but now on HD. Real Madrid with players like Figo, Zidane, Raul, Ronaldo... AC Milan with Cafu, Dida, Shevchenko...
2005 was a classic for me. Included Les Invincibles and you could still tee it up and hoof into the goal from kick-off, at least with players like Henry! It was broken though and the 'best' players abused it. I played it online religiously and once beat the no.3 world ranked player of the time. Happy days. I first played FIFA 94 on the SNES. It was poor to be honest though it was the best on the platform at the time. I did enjoy Super Soccer though with its mode 7 pitch. Best arcade football game: Tehkan World Cup. Best computer football game: Kick Off 2 on Amiga! Best 8-bit football game: MatchDay 2 (Spectrum and C64)
the only frustrating thing about FIFA on PC is that from 07 to 10 it was the exact same thing. thank goodness they decided to catch up with nextgen in 11 (even though 11's presentation on PC looked so much like 10 on 7th-gen consoles).
fifa 98 and 2004 changed my lifes....98 my first oc game and 2004 first ps2...followed by 2007 playstation2 and 2012 on ps3..and all the editions standing next to each other. i love ea to make me to the person i am now !
I remember when the original Fifa International Soccer (94) came out, head to head with Sensible Soccer, I was always a Sensi fan! I always remember playing 95 to death too, learning how to score 95% of the time by running down the wing and shooting from the corner of the box!
Don't remember 98 looking that bad, but the game play was pretty terrible when you would score in indoor and the play would reset at center without giving you a goal.
The first official Fifa game I got was Fifa Euro 2000 on my PC, as I loved France '98, then I actually got back into it in 2003 on my PS2. Player faces were a shocking revelation for me then, as I remember seeing Paul Scholes's and David Beckham's faces (and others like Dennis Bergkamp for Holland) for England and I was like "O.o" as Euro 2000 didn't have player faces.
man for me fifa98 was the first football game ever, and is it ever going to be so magical - i dont think so. Tho tho this day i still love and do play this franchise fifa2013 is awesome!
Oh and I remember you always got sent off for tackling the goalkeeper, when they had the ball in their hands. You can't go near the 'keeper like that now, unless they put the ball on the ground unless you're unlucky/lucky enough to get a ricochet as they clear the ball.
I loved WC 2006(through balls lead to 7-8 goals per match), Euro Championship (they didnt show), and Euro 08... No idea they looked that bad though. The graphics side of things def improved.
Between us me and my dad own all but 2 of these games and the memories from the earlier ones especially are amazing, I can still remember the first time I beat him on Fifa 99! Which is without doubt my favourite of all time, I didn't buy 2000 or 2001 because of it! (and because I was 10 at the time and didn't have any money) Also I can't be the only one who felt weird not hearing 'red morning light' by The Kings of Leon whilst watching the 2004 opening scene in the Stadio Delle Alpi!
i grew up playing Fifa '98 and '99 on PC Fifa '01 and '05 on PS2 Fifa '06 and '07 on PC FIFA '09, '10 '11 and '12 on Xbox 360 fifa 98 and 10 are the best parts IMO
