@Правин Правин you have no idea what war is infact none of us do. WW2 was a dark time, and all sides are to blame. Including the Japanese. Those innocent lives taken from the bomb was planned on purpose, I agree it was sad but war is evil. How do you think China, Korea and other Asian countries viewed the Japanese during that time period. It's just perspective.

It’s cool that you mentioned the moment to pause and reflect on the atomic bombs being dropped on Japan. It’s a complex subject, but the thing that always makes me happy is that I got to see one of my favorite bands twice recently and their lead singer is from Hiroshima, which is a thriving, beautiful city in the present, and everyone, the American fans and the Japanese band, had an absolute blast. It’s crazy to think that could happen, but time and humanity sometimes have a crazy ways of playing out. We’ve gone from being bitter enemies, to some of the closest allies of any two nations in earths history since those times. I hate to make light of the situation, but it’s honestly...It’s just like Dragon Ball: Your current enemy is just a future best friend in waiting lol...

I think its a pause for the world to realize america has change the game..they can just wipe people out when they want instantly without having a war or battles or talking for peace treaties, they legit scarred the shit out of everyone...its a moment to reflect that maybe tech has gone too far and we need to stop fighting so fiercely amongst each other or humans will not exist one day or you know the planet is ruined from fighting...especially Europe cause all these wars can't be good for the future it hurt out planet forever...expansion is now a touchy subject...the a bomb made it so no more hitlers can exist thank god...we can just nuke your ass and avoid tragedy for everyones sake...we should of just dropped it on germany

If you want to learn more about history, I'd suggest Oversimplified, the Extra History series from the channel Extra Credits and History Matters. They are all funny and educational. Though please do keep in mind that Oversimplifieds videos are, well, oversimplified. A see a lot of people who mistakingly think he covers every single detail in his videos. There is also the channel "Knowing Better" who while not being a history channel, does make very educational and entertaining videos which will most likely challenge your view on certain people and events.

As a hafu, I find it kind of amusing that the graphic of the US flag "chasing" Germany back into it's territory is larger than the other country's flags when Russia was responsible for almost 80% of all Nazi casualties during the way. My Japanese grandparents feared and respected Soviet troops more than any other country's army
@firestarter000001

From what i remember , the huge contribution of USA was economic, without their ecoonimic help , among other to Russia, probably Russia even wouldnt be able to defend when Germany attacked. Also lets not forget that Russia actually allowed to start WW2 by allying with Germany, and invading Poland from 2 sides. Maybe if they didnt, the War wouldnt start or would start later, with better prepared countries. To be clear , im not denying the huge casualties and the huge part of Russia in deafeating in the end Germany, but lets remember all parts of the story
@tinameadows462

You should look into more about the soviets contribution to the WHOLE war. USSR had an alliance with the Nazis at the beginning until they were betrayed because the Nazis were even worse people than the Soviets. Yes, they helped majorly in the second half of the war pushing back the Nazis but that was with the massive US economic and humanitarian aid.
@Abobus101
@Abobus101 3 года назад
@@tinameadows462 The war could've been prevented in the first place if the US and the UK didn't want to get rid of USSR using Hitler. It was obvious for everyone that nazi and facist movements popping up in Europe won't end up well. However, it was only USSR who help Spain during facist uprising.

You really need to check out the Lords of War Cinematics. Especially as you guys seem to enjoy WoW. These take place just before the Warlords of Dreanor expansion. Maraad (the dreanei) explains for king Varian Wrynn what they will be facing when entering the portal to Dreanor. maraad knows about the enemies because he faced them in the past ( and yes this is the same enemies but coming from an alternate reality - long story...). Its a 5 part series which is very similar to the Harbinger series you guys reacted too. Keep it up guys!

Well World War 2 was basically USSR vs Germany more than anything else. In western society we view America as being the great belligerant of WW2 because every WW2 movie, game, whatever is about them, the propaganda still lingers on. But they actually did very little in the grand scheme of things. Their most important theater was the Pacific but it doesn't even come close to the European Eastern Front in terms of actual fighting and repercussions. You can always check "The Fallen of World War II" to get a better idea in terms of actual human losses, you would be surprised.
@fugustogamer7512
@fugustogamer7512 4 года назад
United States was the most talked about in the World War 2 part, because the United States are the ones who impacted Japan the most. Which the video is about Japan, but yes more germans died on the Eastern Front than on the Western, and the Soviets suffered more than any. Perhaps contributed to the fact Stalin threw his people into battle as cannon fodder. Edit: Technically per capita Poland still suffered more. They lost the most per capita.

II think poeple like you forget the econoimc aid USA supplied to allied countries. It was a huge thing, historians apprently are not sure if USSR would be able to defend without this help : en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lend-Lease .Also lets not foerget USSR started fighting Germany only after they got attacked, until that time USSR were allied to Germany. Tehy actually took part in the begining of WW2 by attacking Poland from 1 side when Germany was attaing from the other side ( (Pact Ribentrop Molotov)).

A little factoid about the Americans dropping the bomb on Japan: America was considering the casualties they would take if they had to invade Japan, so they ordered a whole BUNCH of Purple Hearts medals. Once Japan surrendered, they didn’t have to use them, so they kept them in storage for future use. Those medals were STILL being used as of the Gulf War. Just goes to show you the horrendous number of casualties they expected to take if they actually had to invade Japan. No wonder they decided to try the bomb first.

Yet another little factoid about the Americans dropping the bombS on Japan: America is to this day still the only nation that ever used an Atomic weapon in an aggressive manner. Also saying "No wonder they decided to try the bomb first" is really sick when you think about it. Sure we can try and fight them with our soldiers (you know. the people who are actually volunteering to fight and are at least somewhat informed of the risks) OR we can drop a devastating weapon on civilian targets killing 230.000 civilians in the first year after the attack and countless more in the following years. Yeah. Real understandable that the US would go to mass annihilation over risking their own soldiers life. Such an honorable thing to do.

@@HypeTrain-Follow Japan is a quasi-democratic country. In fact, if the father is a member of parliament, the child inherits the father's position. The Japanese people take it for granted. That is why they believe in what the government says without any doubt. The actual history textbook teaches only one or two pages of World War II.
