Perhaps not true. Sweden and Great Britain have always had good relations. Our one war between us lasted for 2 years, not one bullet was shot, we where on war strictly on paper between 1810-1812. In 1704 we had one sea-battle, just because a Swedish convoy "dissed" a British convoy, and that is our war history with Great Britain.
