Guyzz all those who have any doubt regarding whether the concepts in this video are right or no they can watch the following video for complete understanding . ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UySm942McV0.html
In errorsion we consider bohut the seed element and 4 neighbouring element must match then we give it one but in case of inverse A and B2 there is a problem in 2nd row 1 st element in errosion matrix it should be 0 as the seed element do not match.
Bhai wrong hai ye Agar tum bhi techmax use kr rahe ho to ye problem techmax mai galat solve kiya hai Erosion ke liye condition rehti hai ki sare elements match ho gaye to center element 1 se change hota vrna center element 0 hoga N hit miss mai erosion use hota hai or is numerical mai sbhi element 0 ho jayenge coz aisi konsi bhi condition nahi aa rahi jisme sabhi elements of structuring element match ho rahe ho
No bro, he has taught correctly....you may refer one of his videos in his playlist where he has given proof of its correctness....it will surely help! :)
Yes you are right that is because there were two structuring elements B1 and B2 given in the question. Only when one structuring element say B1 is given then we can assume B2 to be the compliment of B1
See, hit and miss aims to match the structuring element, exactly to the image . Now if you see the structuring element b1, there is no match of b1 with the image right and hence you will get all zeros. Hope that helps.
For hit or miss just erosion is used however, I also have a video on dilation here. Dilation and Erosion concepts ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_P_EkWkSz_o.html Dilation shortcuts ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KXVoZEnbs6E.html Difficult to understand dilation sums ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XUi26Fp-6bA.html
Skelotonization is a differen topic for that you can look at this video from 25.02 min ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JcldN7nUizo.html
What is the smallest number of different structuring elements that you would need to use to locate all foreground points in an image which have at least one foreground neighbor, using the hit-and-miss transform? What do the structuring elements look like?
Yes you can refer to my other videos of image morphology and then short cuts on dilation and erosion to verify from the basics how they are right . Or else you can also verify from matlab
Sorry I could not understand your question properly Normally for a 3 x 3 structuring element the center point is taken as the seed point. Are you asking what will happen if we take the element in 2nd column in the topmost row as the seed point?
@@ramanhari6464 if the seed element is one then whereever you have one in the stucturing element at all those places you should have one in the image then only the output will be 1. For more clarity you can look at this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_P_EkWkSz_o.html Here i have explianed dilation and erosion from the basic formula
You are fantastic !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for your video. You said b2 is complement of b1, but if thats the case, b2 = [1 1 1;1 0 1;1 0 1], which is complement of b1=[0 0 0;0 1 0;0 1 0] . But i can see your b2 is [0 1 0; 0 0 0; 0 0 0] which i dont agree.
james tanaka here b2 and b1 both were given in the question ... I said when say only one structuring element is given say b1 then take b2 as the complement of b1
Please refer to my videos on image morphology i hav first exaplained them using the acctuall formulas and then given the shortcuts . You will fin them here Image Morphology: ru-vid.com/group/PLFXza2AmUJa-0tG-V0woFEb5eRe1-JDvC Also all my videos are based on the book digital image processing by Gonzales.
Yep, thanks for your reply Pratik Jain. You are absolutely correct but this answer is not expected one. As described in homepages.inf.ed.ac.uk/rbf/HIPR2/thin.htm, I make use of (figure -1) 8 structural elements (2 structural elements rotated by 90,180,270) . I tested it on imaged given Japanese letter (like hindi 3) in article, i am not getting the result as given above article.
What should i do here? is that doing as yours for four times ... first time consider original image and compute hit and miss transform and compute hit and miss transform on consecutive results of.
