Had ours three years and the king pins adapter messed up and they replaced it free. We remove it when we get to our summer and winter get aways. Like it and its easy to hookup.
Mine has never leaned or moved at all. You might want to make sure your set bolts are tight. Those are the ones under the coupler. It is a great hitch though!
Good point on the chains. Guy I spoke to was very knowledgeable about hitches. Will have poise that legs question to him when traveling out of state Wouldn't want to put more holes in the truck bed but than again BnW turnover ball unserved setup has two attachment points next to main hole. Thanks
You may want to double check the manufacturers website, but I don't see any reason why not. As long as you have a flat surface around the pin to attach the adapter.
My 2023 reflection 270 BN has a lifetime warranty on all the electronics but I have to take it in once a year to dealer and they inspect it for $100. But I have to unhook the part that goes on the fifth wheel ,they have no adapter to move it around there yard , poulrite should make an adapter that I can put over the ball for that purpose.
It was honestly never an issue. Even with a long bed you have to swing wide due to where the tires track, so I may have had to swing a little more, but never really noticed it.
If you go to the 1:36 mark of the video I actually discuss this and the fact that an "offset" is built into the design of the hitch. We tow with a short bed truck and that's why I got this hitch in the first place!
I'm looking at the 2600 Superlight right now with a B & W Turnoverball Underbed on a Chevrolet 2500 HD . I was told by RV dealer that it is not considered a gooseneck hitch therefore chains are not required in Pa. Might not be a bad idea as an option for extra security
I find that hard to believe... but I've never looked up each individual state! I would definitely recommend it though, especially if you ever leave your home state then you'd be covered. Good luck!
Hello! My husband and I just purchased a 2022 367 BHS and we are living in it full time. I have a question. It says we have 2 grey tanks, but only 1 fills up, and it always backs up into the shower when it is over filled. Grand Design and our dealer both said that one is for the kitchen and one is for the bathroom. But we have been in it full time for over a month and there is no water ever going into the 2nd grey tank. I am assuming that there is a valve somewhere that I need to open, but I honestly have no idea where to begin looking. Have you had a similar issue? Or do you know anything about the valve system or how to go about trouble shooting this?
We never experienced that! Our kitchen sink drains to grey tank 2, and the bathroom to 1. There are no valves (other than to dump them) so I have no idea what's going on with yours! I would experiment while at a full hookup spot and leave just grey tank 2 open while running water and use a clear elbow at the dump to see if anything is coming out. It would be very odd (and hard to do) for Grand Design to hook those up wrong. Good luck!
Got a couple of questions for you. I have a Pullrite 2600 (and 2022 Ram 3500) as well just bought it but havent used it yet my gears 5th wheel legs are broke waiting to get them replaced. First question is where did you buy your safety chains and do you know what part # they are ? Last question the only concern I have is I noticed so far that you have to raise your 5th wheel alot higher to get connected than a standard 5th wheel hitch do you lower your legs to help with that or put anything under legs to help with that ?
I actually bought my chains on Amazon, so I put that link in the video description if you need it. And yes you do have to lift the trailer about 6 inches higher with this hitch. I always put something under the landing gear anyway... so it's never been an issue. There are times we've been on quite a hill so I put extra blocks behind the wheels just in case, but that's just to make me feel better. It's never been an issue though, and we've been in some interesting and unlevel sites! Good luck getting repaired and getting out there!
@@LivingaLifeFulfilled i definitely agree with you! I was just responding to a comment made by a previous response calling “BS” on the weight of some of the hitches. They are definitely heavy. Thanks for your video. I really love this style of hitch and would love to have one, however my auto slider has extremely paid off and has saved me during my travels. Thanks.
