I think this demonstrates what happens when Americans rewrite history. We fail to get a thorough narrative or full understanding of it and end up looking like uneducated (and naive) fools on the public stage. Hate to see it.

WW1 and 2 had no bearing on the British empire. As every schoolboy ought to know, they were about German empires. Also, it would have been impossible for America (having joined the parties very late) to have won ww2 or ww1 in Europe if Britain had not held out in ww2 alone for 2plus years or uk and France fought Germany to a standstill on the western front in ww1.
