"our client informs us the target always carries around a small black book" and at the same time the briefing shows a big text "Does not carry black book on him". Wtf?
@@austinwiltse8173 I think it was a "fix it in post moment". They recorded everything, made the cutscene, then realized he didnt actually carry the bloody book on him! I hope someone got fired for that blunder
Ara Ara Only actually I would say the biggest pain is now the challenge in “The source” mission in patient zero where you have to launch the target onto the canopy
Hard mission if you want to do it sa/so, extremely easy if you go to the bar, pick the chaman disguise and then you can roam freely where the target is :) I acutally distracted the chef, knocked him out and poisoned the food. You have to knock him out otherwise he'll taste the food before the target^^
Actually not hard, just slow and methodical if you don't want to take chances. Lure one guard after another until you can execute the contract. But I agree this is not a pleasant mission to play.
I discovered an easy SA/SO route to kill Reddington. Bring the ICA Electrocution Phone and place it near the snake trap that's next to the road where you can sneak in. Reddington will always pick it up and you can kill him easily. Works even on Master difficulty. However, I'm still having trouble getting to the hut to retrieve his black book afterwards. I'm gonna be real honest, I hate this mission. Don't get me wrong, I love the Santa Fortuna map but I absolutely hate the Embrace Of The Serpent mission. Not a lot of thought went into it.
Such bad DLC assignments. No unique kills and very small and easy. I thought there is a snake kill that would kill the hunter.... has anyone found one. Hahah.
FOR EVERYONE STRUGGLING: I pacified every single guard in the area (including the gate guard) and the chef. After i pacified the guy in the shack, hid his body, also hid in the case, from that point on i had freeplay to get the intel and get out. This worked without a problem
2 Hours attempting to get into the hut, and once I manage to get in my rating gets canceled for no reason as soon as I get out. For a pointless mission, lol k
With a hippo in the main mission, thought they could have used an anaconda or something like that with the target being a potcher. Just under 10G for these two, can't see it, barely a change in time of day.
You're my hero on this one. Screw this stupid mission! I wish I had played all of this content inside Hitman 2 instead of Hitman 3. I couldn't figure out why I wasn't seeing certain challenges that you have in your walkthroughs. It's too late now! I've put way too much time into it inside of Hitman 3.
Got the "No Evidence" bug as well, like several people here (whereas I got SA/SO...), and therefore I didn't get "Sniper Assassin" challenges... This is damn frustrating, having to do it all over again... Okay, I did it again, and I now got the "No Evidence" challenge, but NOT "Sniper Assassin", whereas I was SA/SO, with "No Evidence" challenge unlocked, headshot, ballistic kill.... But no "Sniper Assassin"... WTH is happening with this mission???
If anyone is still struggling, I recommend using the emetic grenade on the two guards outside the hut as they talk to each other. Then the chef can be knocked out when lured behind the small tent. This dramatically cuts down on the guards, since the rest of them will leave to patrol another area if you're patient.
I used the remote emetic on Reddington and his guards. "Screwed up" at one point by only getting the guards, they both left leaving Reddington free for the taking. That black book has to be the hardest thing to grab while going for SA/SO
For anyone struggling to enter the hut and subdue the guards without being spotted, I found it easier to passify one guard and then the chef behind the crates (luring them with a coin) then simply throwing a crowbar against the hut, subdue and move guards behind the crates one after the other. When area is clear (about 4 guards and chef to subdue) open hut and lure out guards one after the other employing same method. It takes longer but you dont have to stress the timing so try it if you're getting frustrated.
That is exactly what I did. I was just missing one part; the cook and the guard near the hut, those two bastards spotted me so many times while pacifying the others. I followed your advice and took care of both of them behind the crates. That was the final breaktrough. Was able to make one solid save and finish it in the same playtrough, thank f**king god.
those bodies are found by the two patrolling on the cliff even though I've hidden them completely in the bush. while capable of spotting a motionless body from a mile away, you can't see a big ass living being sneaking under your eyes? shut the front door
Awesome video, MrFreeze2244. At 7:45, you said, "on Masters mode there, they have the eyes of a eagle". What's crazy is that for some reason, the guards don't pick up coins that are thrown in the brush/tall grass. They will see/pick up everything else; thrown objects and weapons but they don't see/pick up coins for some reason. They walk over to the location I throw them (coins) in to investigate but they never pick them up. I always end up finding/picking up the coins I threw. I was like, "oh..., my coins aren't good enough for these guard to pick up???". LOL. For realism, though, I can understand anyone not seeing a coin in tall grass.
This one was a pain. I wasn't a fan of it or the Mumbai guy, since they used two really big elaborate maps but only involved one area, or two if you count the shaman being moved to the bar. At least the Mumbai guy was super easy. When I did this one SA/SO, I actually did everything in the hut area. You can lure the armed guard that never looks away from the door behind the crates and knock him out, then do the same with the chef. Then go into the hut and hide behind the wall. Wait for the dude to go around and subdue from cover, then do the same with the other guy. Then use distractions to lure all the guards in the area including the two with the target and hide them behind the wall. Leave weapons/coins in the other part of the room to dag them in far enough to walk around and crowbar them. You end up with 6 unconscious bodies in a pile that can't be seen from the door, and can go after the target however you want. There's a puddle to electrocute, or you could just lure him in with a coin like the rest and kill him then. I hid in the bushes, knocked him out, then dumped his body in the pond by the outhouse.
4:16 I still don't get the logic on how they can hear the noise if you throw an object in the face of an npc. But when they get smashed in the back of the head even though they're closer to the npc, they still don't hear it.
I tried tranquilizing the cook so I could poison the food and then have the guards awake him so the target tasted the food. After waking up, the cook decided to leave the area for some reason. I distracted him and poisoned the food. He tasted it first and died. I distracted him, poisoned the food and then kept disctracting him with coins for minutes until the target came. The cook said the food wasn't ready so the target didn't taste it. *Fuck this shit*
Great run mr. F👍 these two extra missions in Colombia and Mumbai are lazy in comparison to HM 1. Targets roam small areas, no mission stories and no achievements. Piss poor imo.
Do the target and guards come down the narrow trail if they are not lured there? Anytime I drag them to the corner they are spotted. No matter where they are dragged.
Great video as always Freeze! Though, does anyone know a fix for the No Evidence feats? Mine's bugged as well and I've completed the mission again but they're still bugged. I checked and my run still indicates in the exp that no bodies were found...
I have noticed that if you use the tranq gun on people and they discover the body (even if its just for a blink of the eye before you take the guy out) you will indeed keep SA but you will lose No evidence and you wont complete sniper assassin.
i followed this exactly and didnt have the same experience at all. had double the number of enemies coming to find the already knocked out bodies. theyd also find them even if concealed. so i had to continue to knock out about 7 people. also the briefcase glitched so stopped letting me throw it halfway. ended up losing silent assassin somehow despite a clean run. not a very fun level
This will net you 24,000+ points. So if ya like me and you don't really like the Santa Fortuna map. Then you can easily take a chunk off the required points to get mastery 20, by doing this side mission.
Almost 3 hours I was stuck on this garbage level. I love pressing the subdue button only for 47 to punch the guy clean in the face and I really love how the guards can obtain xray vision and see through walls and foliage even though it says I'm concealed. My favorite thing was the guard in the hut, no joke on 5 occasions his back was to me and as I went to hit him with the crowbar he'd spot me. This was just so infuriating, without this guide no joke I would have given up. Also if anyone else is wondering how to unlock the tranqulizer gun you need to complete all story missions on Whittleton Creek not just 3 as some people say but all 7 story missions if like me your playing on Hitman 2. I don't know if it's different if your playing hitman 2 levels on hitman 3 but on the Hitman 2 game that's how I unlocked it.
Golden handshake, due you even care feat...you have to snipe that flying bird flying around in the teller hall. My old lady fingers took me forever to get it.
I did the SA SO with vomit gun and vomit grenade. After all it was extremly satisfying, as it felt as I was hunting for my pray using the darts of the vomit gun. Anyways, taking the black book from the hut took me almost 3 hours... I consider it a real challange!
Find away into the hut, use distractions, lure guards and knock and hid the guards inside until target is alone do the same thing then kill him when he's all alone.
1st off Freeze you always do a bang up job with your videos, thing is when I tried this one every time I tranquilized the first guard the second one calls out instantly and I never get to knock him out before that. Any advice bud?
I actually distract the one on the left with a coin thrown at the entrance of the path leading to the monkey statue, then knock him out and knock the other one in a row. (I pick up the wrench on the baril at the beginning of the mission).
I used my one save on Master mode and reloading it caused guards bodies to be found. Must be bodies loading into the map when save is reloaded. On PC btw
When I took out one of the bodyguards Blair and the other one heard it so the other guard came which let me knock him out. Then Blair heard that so he checked it himself which gave me the perfect chance to tranquilize him and snap his neck, or I could have used the sniper for the sniper assassin challenge
I appreciate all your content by the way ! But like so many other videos referring to the emetic gun or the ICE electric phone. We don't have any of these by the time we hit that mission - in a chronological order, quite annoying !
Fane Ben Mezd Yeah But with 1 save and when the enemies are much harder to take out especially whilst having to maintain Silent Assassin Suit Only that’s gonna be like Hell
@@smartii3s I did it without the tranquilizer too, its frustrating yea. Just go on the upper side of the area, the one that leads to the cocaine plantation and is locked by a door. There are 3 guards there, 2 patrolling and 1 in the door. Subdue them and then lure the others one by one inside there so you can hide their bodies too. I would say to save when you have taken out at least half of the guards you need. Takes some time but its the safest non tranquilizer method i think.
Ok, hiding the hermetic syringe inside the stash in the jungle lets you get rid of the guard patrolling the hut easily, solving the issue of the sleeping guard waking up and ruining your rating!
Well I finally got it by taking them out in the opposite order, I find that to be better since the guy on the left has his back to the guy on the right.
Are you pressing yourself up against the wall (it's B on an Xbox controller, not sure about any others) before you try? Crouch, press against the wall, spam the subdue button like mad as they get closer and you'll get them. Just crouching without pressing up agains the wall won't let you do it.
Thanks for making/posting your walkthroughs, they've always been very helpful. I found Embrace the Serpent easy after I got my bearings. I used my instinct to orientate myself and I used the couple's comment on the bridge and changed into one of the soldiers after throwing an apple at him. I snuck around until I came across the camp and found the book, then I snuck around and followed Blair Reddington before pulling my silenced Silverballer/Hardballer and shooting him in the head. The stressful part for me was exfil, I found the forest disorientating while trying to hide from the enforcers. I finally made it back to the bridge where I drove away in that cab-over pick-up. It was very satisfying. I'm looking forward to Mumbai/Illusions of grandeur and seeing what the 2nd expansion pack has because I have that too with my gold edition.
Is anyone else having difficulty with the "no evidence" bug? I only have seen about three other people discussing it online. Really sucks, this is such a great strat but for some reason it's not popping up.
