Kinda like that scene from the batman animated series where some random goon walks into a room and finds Batman in there. Batman gives a silent glare to the goon and the goon exits with another goon asking the guy if he saw something. The goon just replies with "nope" and leaves.

Given the shots were from an automatic weapon or burst fire weapon... it is actually very unlikely a suppressed sniper.

There’s a “panic” state the AI goes into when it notices three shots in a row, which causes it to sprint towards where the shots came from, overriding all other behaviors. This means they won’t bother you for trespassing or holding a weapon until after they’ve investigated where the shots came from, so you can run past

This actually seems kinda realistic, if it's the first encounter the guards have with you. Even well trained guards will have a lag moment and might assume that the target is in the direction of the gunfire and not running past them so blatantly. At least until they have time to communicate what the target actually looks like, too. (This is a real thing. Acting like you're supposed to be somewhere can convince people until they hold you up to scrutiny.)

@@NarwahlGaming There are hackers on PC but some strategies legit result in such times. There is a SASO strat for Miami's main mission that let's you finish the mission within 11 seconds.

You misunderstood the guard. He was telling agent 47 that he didn't see shit. Therefore he wasn't a witness and didn't need to be eliminated.
