I just bingewatched your Freelancer series yesterday to pass time until the May 11th update since Hitman on the PS4 has a massive missing audio bug. Thanks for making another one, you're one of the few people who are decent and good at this gamemode. I swear peoples situational awareness drops to 0 when they play Hitman.

Couple of tips for ya Mooney. - Poisoning with chloroform can be either putting it in food or drinks OR by throwing it at a person/at their feet. Both will count as poisoning. - Using chloroform as melee does not count as poisoning as you’re using the bottle to knock them out - In Chongqing (and to a much less extent Mendoza) there are vents you can hack WITHOUT a dongle. Like in the room you got trapped in after the scan. - Lookouts are relatively easy to find. They’re typically enforcers that would NEVER see you (I.e. A random crowd member seeing you in your uncompromised suit) and they’re always walking around big areas (like the bar area in Paris) I hope these help you out and keep up the content!

If in case you're unsure, lookouts are normally enforcers to ANY disguise especially to your suit. If you do somehow see a dot over an NPCs head whilst wearing your suit for example, they are lookouts. Also prompting the lookout symbol on the bottom left corner of the HUD.

The white vent lock didn't need the dongle, only the blue door one. That was hilarious! Lookouts may or may not be guards, but they're extra patrolling enforcers added to the map that trigger an evacuation when alerted. Lookouts can only be white-dot people and they use an earpiece when alerted as a giveaway. Assassins are the bodyguards suspects can have.

From the upcoming patch notes of Hitman: "We’ve made a change to the ‘Perfect Shooter’ objective (Do not miss a shot, you will fail if any shot misses a person), that will make an exception for security cameras or recorders. The objective text has also been updated. In short, you can now shoot security cameras and recorders and still earn the Perfect Shooter objective"

@21:30 - Nolan Cassidy and his guard will always go via the garage if the garage door is open. Since it's a normal state of play to close the garage door to ensure privacy for various reasons, Nolan and his guard will go through the door instead. It's one of the few times where an NPC will go an alternative route instead of just walking through a closed/locked door. Possibly because the Garage Door works slightly differently to a regular door, as it doesn't have a direct interaction.

Hardcore mode takes your freelancer tools when you swap to it, and swapping back to normal mode also takes away the freelancer tools you picked up in hardcore mode.

22:53 that sustained note in the soundtrack lets you know it’s the target. in hitman 2016 and hitman 2 maps, there is an audio cue whenever you linger around a target and that transferred over to freelancer and is crazy helpful in showdowns. the cue is a little different on each map but they’re super noticeable once you realize they’re there

Hey Mooney, I've been playing Hardcore mode a good bit and I think it's a fun challenge that's definitely worth trying out, although sometimes it really can be extremely aggravating. I remember I did a showdown on Miami where I chose "Time Trial" as my prestige objective because I figured it would give me a fat amount of time because of all the 9 suspects, except the suspects weren't all counted as targets. It counted only the leader, so it gave me 2 minutes. There were suspects in the Kronstadt building and it started me over by Florida Man, so I actually had no chance to even complete that. When the prestige objectives aren't all timed ones or silent assassin ones it's a fun challenge, but when those are the only options it can become extremely irritating depending on where the targets are since sometimes it won't even be possible. While playing on hardcore I've just allowed myself to start alt-f4-ing to give myself a little extra preparation if I get bullshit prestige objective options, because it can be legitimately impossible sometimes, and I'd recommend other people do too. I recommend people play it if they find the original mode too easy (I personally did) and want an extra challenge, but I'd definitely suggest allowing yourself a few resets. Love the content, keep it up! No matter how long you take to upload we'll be waiting for you to drop more great vids :)

Hey bigmooney, good to see you back. I just saying the TIMED TRIAL condition doesn't mean you have to do all the objectives in the mission in the time limit, just the target elimination. Once your targets dead, the timer stops, then you can do the remaining objectives stress free. Though it was fun watching you try to do it all in the time limit 😂. A lookout is a pedestrian who can see through your starting disguise. So they have the white dot above their head.

Chloroform, if thrown at npcs, will have the bottle knocking them out. If you lob it at their feet, the bottle breaks and the chloroform gas will knock them out. And of course you could also have the target ingest it, or pour it into AC units. Regarding Hardcore, yes it's frustrating AF with all the npcs on hyper alert. What you need to remember is to always try to do the prestige objective, otherwise you fail. Any other objectives do them if you can, eff them if you can't. BUT YOU NEED TO DO HARDCORE FOR THE CONTENT :D Also, the May 11th patch will bring a new suit (The Black Bruiser suit) as a reward for completing a Hardcore campaign, so there's that. Absolutely looooove you content, keep bringing it please!

On the first showdown with 4 suspects, the meeting is useless because all 4 of them will have the same meeting.

I just went from a laptop 1060 to a 4070TI and it was like I was suddenly seeing the mantis shrimp colors everyone's always talking about. This new vid looks fantastic.

I've found that most lookouts are easily spotted while you're still in your suit. They're usually an unarmed plain-clothed enforcer.

I too thought I was trapped in that changing-room after the scanner BUT you can actually throw an object at the wall next to the door and the guards will come and investigate, opening the door for you...though they will try to frisk you when you go through as well...

Welcome back! Good to see some more content and grats on the new computer. I did the hardcore mode just to get the trophies, but did it after I spent most of my money (however there is a trophy for losing $50K in a mission in case you want to risk it for the biscuit). I'll never do it again though. There's no good time to do it - just have to rip off the Band-Aid and bulldog through it. It sucks.

18:25 😂 Locking yourself in a high security facility. A+ *edit:* Lookouts are enforcers for any guard disguise. There's guards, lookouts, and assassins. Lookouts have their own patrol patterns, while assassins follow a suspect around.

I've been upgrading parts and pieces on the same motherboard + processor since 2011. Seeing how smoothly the game runs on your rig tells me it's time to blow the dust off my wallet and exercise the plastic.

Hardcore mode is a lot of fun but it's tremendously challenging. I did my final few campaigns in Hardcore mode just to boost my level to 100 faster. Also, chloroform does work as a poison if you toss it at their feet. And lookouts are random civilians who have the enforcer dots above their foreheads; however, once you kill the syndicate leader, the dot goes away, but it will still alert you if there's one nearby. Can't wait to see you play Hardcore, and if you really get into a mess, you can always Alt F4, though that ruins the fun a bit.

Your video footage looks a lot better. The colors really pop, especially around the 3:06 mark when you're in Bangkok.

I tried hardcore mode once and I regretted everything. If you don't do a prestige optional objective you fail, you also have to pick one or you can't play the campaign you started. You get spotted in the showdown mission and you get away and escape you still fail. It is something I don't recommend, I feel like everyone will say don't worry about doing it.

Mooney, you should do a freelance challenge where you don't use any freelancer tools, only the random stuff around the map (kettlebell, red wine, etc)

10:33 you can just drop it when you’re standing next to someone and it’ll explode. 11:33 You’re thinking of the Kalmer1. The Sieker is emetic, the Kalmer is the tranquillizer. You can’t use emetic poisons if they see you or if they’re alerted which is why it didn’t work on the first guy you shot. 20:22 she will continue talking even if you pause the game.

Missed ya, wee man. Welcome back! Oh, and Miami was on Alerted status, which means most of the objects normally found in the map are removed, sadly. I guess part of being alerted is they clean the place up and don't leave potentially dangerous objects lying out in the open, such as car batteries that would usually be in several locations.

The sedative flask actually works like a grenade, I know it might be confusing if you're not used to it. You'd think 47 would carry a hankie around to do a proper chloroforming but no, he's like "BOTTLE SMASHY" Also I guess you forgot that using the camera on the vent in that room is free, you don't need a dongle

If you scan the vent at 18:21 with your camera, it will open without a dongle and will lead you to a tier 1 dongle so that you can get out of the room.
