It is Mike’s turn to suffer the whims of Hitman random mission generator Hitman Roulette (tinyurl.com/hitmanroulette), which demands he complete the Morocco mission A Gilded Cage according to a strict set of rules, including no distractions and a kill with a large melee weapon. Mike’s Hitman challenge involves killing General Zaydan with a small melee weapon, Strandberg with a large melee weapon, escaping via an armored truck and not throwing objects as distractions.
Sounds tricky, but the hardest part turns out to be actually finding a large melee weapon. Who knew that Morocco was so short on fire axes?

Mike got kinda played in this one. The roulette modifier said that he was not allowed to "throw objects as distractions", such as throwing a coin to distract someone. Starting a firealarm, or something similar, like flooding a toilet or sink, starting a noisy machine, etc. would be allowed, since he wouldn't be "throwing objects as distractions". Likewise, throwing something like a wrench to knock someone out, would also be allowed, since the target would be considered 'subdued' not 'distracted'.

Every time I see the ICA mentioned in Hitman I get reminded about one of Sweden's biggest supermarket chains, ICA and wonder if they have a dark secret. This level even included a hit at the Swedish consulate, maybe Strandberg knew too much

Have to say it's knife to see Mike having to hachet a plan for a change, and though one might imagine Andy looking daggers at him about his stealth, you can't really fault his axe-ocution of the hit. :)

I like the description for the battle axe is Highly Obvious, as in, "it is Highly Obvious you are going to use this to kill someone. It serves no other purpose. Battle axe = Murder."

I noticed that Andy kinda had to coach poor confused Mike through the process of, you know, not being a rampaging murderer who throws everything he can at people -- literally. I love how 47 also won't knife a guy after you knock him out, despite the fact that it should not matter at ALL how you kill him at that point. I also love that it took until the end of the level for Mike's disguise to get compromised despite the fact that his killing Zeydan was noticed. XD Good work, you too!

In Mike's defense Andy, sometimes axes are also projectile launchers and have no melee functionality. I'd test it once or thrice myself.

Fun fact oxbox, you can actually burn your fingerprints off if you want to be a professional criminal (say a thief, assassin, or some such). So yeah, I'd say 47's fingerprints are probably burned off.

This is one of the few maps I know offhand has a very easy to get large weapon... There's a battle-axe around the ledge at the headmasters roof, accessable from a drain pipe just inside the school as well.

That first kill was a total mess. :p The way to do it is subdue the guard by the door, throw a knife at the general and then hide them both in the closet before people come in. The alarm will sound, but they won't be suspicious of you. :)

I support the use of the battle axe. But I can't believe none of you remember that the shop connected to the tunnel you went through has a sabre in it! There's also a second battle axe up the pipe in Zadan's complex.

Yea, burning off 47's fingerprints would be a good way of avoiding the cops as long as he doesn't put his ear up against a hard surface. Yes, police can find you using your ear print as well.

Some of the fire axe animations are absolutely brutal. I don't remember where I saw it but this guy kept getting spotted so he would just run up to people and cut them down. Definitely give it a go.
